Tool Popping Up Everywhere!
Have you noticed an image similar to the one
below, on posters, wine bottle labels, or printed
materials, and wondered what it was? It’s not an
ink blot, printer error or new wave art – it’s actually
the latest incarnation of a bar code – only these
ones can be read by iPhones, Blackberries or
the web cam on your laptop, and can take you
directly to web sites, e-mail messages or have
contact information embedded in them. They
are easy and fast to
generate – there are
many online applications
that will convert the
information for you, and
can be managed as a
standard graphic image
for printing on paper,
t-shirts, even icing
and more!
2010 Golf Tournament
The Annual Golf Tournament was another great success!
On September 16th, members golfed and dined at the beautiful Pheasant Run Golf
Club. The weather wasn’t up to par, but that didn’t dampen the golfers’ spirits. Over
150 golfers arrived and then finished the day with a delicious dinner and the chance
to win fantastic draw prizes.
The Newmarket Chamber of Commerce would like to thank our sponsors for
their generosity, the Golf Committee for their dedication, the hard-working staff
at Pheasant Run, and all those who participated in the event.
Thanks to Our Sponsors:
