3 Highly versatile and user-friendly 30 refrigerants integrated in the instrument - optimum refrigerant management The temperature/pressure curves of 30 refrigerants are stored in the instrument. If other refrigerants are required, they can be downloaded free of charge fromm the <strong>Testo</strong> website and transferred to the instrument. This makes the refrigeration system extremely versatile for all systems and requirements. Versatility with wireless probes With testo 556 and 560, wireless measurement at distances of up to 20 m (without obstruction) are possible, in addition to measurements with classical probes. A selection: pipe wrap probes, immersion, penetration and air probes allow the measurement of different media and objects. Damage to the probe cable or hindrances in use are thus eliminated. Superheating/subcooling are calculated in real time. Evacuation with the display of the evaporation temperature of water During the evacuation of a system, the integrated vacuum sensor (testo 560) measures the absolute pressure and the evaporation temperature of water. The measured values provide information on whether the system is being optimally dried, i.e whether the water vapour is being withdrawn. The evacuation can be carried out considerably quicker than has been possible up to now. Easy to operate Easily comprehensible, clear and practice-oriented menu structures allow fast and intuitive operation. The large backlit display and the sight glass guarantee good handling even in dark surroundings. Practical accessories can be easily connected, and operated via the instrument.
4 Security for data and instrument Theft protection The instruments can be secured against theft with a padlock. Data protection A code prevents unauthorized termination of the measurement. The data are manipulation-proof and can therefore be used as proof.
