MOTIVE<br />

MOTIVE is an unconventional way to watch a crime unfold. Each episode of the new <strong>CTV</strong><br />

Original Drama begins by revealing not only the victim, but the killer as well. The feisty<br />

female Vancouver homicide detective then begins to piece together clues. How did they do<br />

it? How are the victim and killer connected? What’s the motive? As the mystery unfolds,<br />

the audience navigates the twisted and complicated maze of each murder and solves the<br />

puzzle alongside the detective and her team.<br />

From Warner Bros Television, this much buzzed about psychological thriller THE<br />

FOLLOWING, stars Golden Globe® Award-winner Kevin Bacon (X-Men: First Class) in his<br />

broadcast television debut. The FBI estimates there are currently over 300 active serial<br />

killers in the United States. What would happen if these killers had a way of connecting<br />

with each other and were able to work together to form alliances across the country? What<br />

if one brilliant psychotic serial killer was able to bring them all together and activate a<br />

following? When notorious serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) escapes from death<br />

row and embarks on a new killing spree, the FBI calls former agent Ryan Hardy (Bacon) to<br />

consult on the case. Hardy is a walking textbook of all-things Carroll and is perhaps<br />

Carroll’s only psychological and intellectual match. Wounded by his previous pursuit of this<br />

serial killer, this investigation is Hardy’s redemption and he becomes ever more<br />

determined to end Carroll’s game when he realizes that this psychopath intends to finish<br />

what he started. The thriller follows Hardy and the FBI as they are challenged with the<br />

ever-growing web of murder around them.<br />
