KONA, HAWAI’I - (Apr. 12, 2012) -- Pyramid Hotel Group h<strong>as</strong> appointed <strong>Angelina</strong> <strong>Preza</strong> <strong>as</strong><br />
the new <strong>Director</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sales</strong> and <strong>Marketing</strong> <strong>at</strong> Sher<strong>at</strong>on Kona Resort & Spa <strong>at</strong> Keauhou Bay, a 22-<br />
acre oceanfront resort on Hawaii, the Big Island.<br />
“<strong>Angelina</strong>’s prior experience in Hawaii and on Hawaii Island specifically is a plus. Th<strong>at</strong> she is<br />
born and raised in Hawaii and understands our role in this community makes me really excited<br />
about the enthusi<strong>as</strong>m and talent she brings to this important position,” said Area Managing<br />
<strong>Director</strong> and Sher<strong>at</strong>on Kona Resort & Spa General Manager Steve Lindburg. “With our $16<br />
million renewal on target for l<strong>at</strong>e-summer completion, it is critical th<strong>at</strong> we have the right person<br />
in place <strong>as</strong> our <strong>Director</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sales</strong> and <strong>Marketing</strong>. <strong>Angelina</strong> is th<strong>at</strong> person.”<br />
<strong>Preza</strong>’s responsibilities will include meeting resort goals for leisure and group business<br />
bookings, soliciting new accounts and nurturing existing accounts, and directing the resort sales<br />
team. She will also work with her staff to ensure outstanding quality service for resort customers.<br />
<strong>Preza</strong>’s experience includes having served <strong>as</strong> Senior <strong>Director</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sales</strong> for the Big Island Visitors<br />
Bureau and <strong>Director</strong>’s positions with AQUA Hotels & Resorts, Sunterra Resorts, Marc Resorts<br />
Hawaii and the Lodge <strong>at</strong> Koele and Manele Bay Hotels. <strong>Preza</strong> is an avid hiker and mountain<br />
climber who h<strong>as</strong> scaled Maunakea and Maunaloa preparing for climbs in Nepal. She traces her<br />
roots to grandparents th<strong>at</strong> were born on Hawaii Island and worked the famed Parker Ranch.
