A multidisciplinary training defining<br />

professional roles and responsibilities of<br />

various disciplines, with case studies, in<br />

order to better address child death and<br />

severe trauma cases.<br />

<strong>Goal</strong><br />

Upon completion, participants will be able to<br />

increase their understanding of child death<br />

and severe trauma cases via lectures, case<br />

presentations, questions and answers to<br />

improve the investigation and prosecution<br />

and support of victims and families.<br />

Continuing Education<br />

Nursing CEUs: IBON Provider #94 awards up to .72 Nursing CEUs. Nurses must attend the<br />

entire training.<br />

Social Work CEUs: This training meets the standards & criteria specified in IAC 645-281.3,<br />

for 7.2 hours continuing education for social workers. This certificate and program<br />

information must be retained for a period of 4 years.<br />

Continuing Legal Education CLEs: to be submitted for approval..<br />
