professional roles and responsibilities of
various disciplines, with case studies, in
order to better address child death and
severe trauma cases.
Goal
Upon completion, participants will be able to
increase their understanding of child death
and severe trauma cases via lectures, case
presentations, questions and answers to
improve the investigation and prosecution
and support of victims and families.

Nursing CEUs: IBON Provider #94 awards up to .72 Nursing CEUs. Nurses must attend the
entire training.
Social Work CEUs: This training meets the standards & criteria specified in IAC 645-281.3,
for 7.2 hours continuing education for social workers. This certificate and program
information must be retained for a period of 4 years.
Continuing Legal Education CLEs: to be submitted for approval..
