provides MRO services to civil and military operators with all the experience of a

Its services are organized into product lines: Airframe services, Component services,

Airframe services
Across seven of its sites in Europe,
Sabena technics offers line and base
maintenance on a large range of aircraft,
from pre-flight inspections to D-checks.
Its extensive in-house capability is
supported by numerous backshops.
Sabena technics’ engineering
department, EASA PART 21 J Design
Office and EASA PART 21 G Product
Office, allows the company to perform
the most complex modifications, such as
VIP cabin changes and avionic retrofits.
With an expertise in civil, military and VIP
aircraft, Sabena technics also provides
dry stripping and painting services,
saving operators valuable time.
Sabena technics also develops special
solutions for lessors and business
aviation operators.
Component services
With three sites in Europe and four
sites int the Americas (Barfield),
Sabena technics certifies over 100,000
components in-house every year,
benefiting from logistics platforms
including Paris CDG.
In order to provide its customers
with the right component services,
the following technologies, Sabena
technics offers on a flat rate and time
and material basis: avionics, integrated
drive generator, electromechanics,
pneumatics, fuel, hydraulics, oxygen
and wheels and brakes.
The company also offers landing gear
services: its Bordeaux facilities, as well
as its Dinard-based Hydrep joint-venture
with Messier Services, are fully equipped
to carry out all kinds of repairs and
surface treatments under the same roof.
To minimize maintenance costs, Sabena
technics equally offers aircraft structure
and cabin equipment services.
VIP completion by Sabena technics, is a service offered to customers seeking VIP,
Corporate and Government design, engineering (STC) and completion services. This
department relies on dedicated in-house state of the art facilities to tailor solutions for
your completion & refurbishment, maintenance & engineering and painting needs.

Integrated services is your “à la carte”
support. To meet your needs, Sabena
technics builds customized and costeffective
maintenance support,
combining key services: airframe
solutions, component solutions, logistic
solutions, fleet solutions, asset solutions
and support solutions.
More than 570 aircraft already benefit
from these services and expertise in pool
management.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Sabena
technics guarantees you the support
you need in AOG situations, wherever
you are.
The trading division provides you with
spare parts solutions in managing the
purchasing, short or long term lease,
loans and exchanges of a wide range of
components.
Sabena technics offers global support
and maintenance services to military
operators, from line to base maintenance,
including airworthiness monitoring. The
company also provides “haute couture”
aircraft modifications, new systems
integration and aircraft interiors.
Sabena technics has been an authorized
Lockheed Hercules service center since
1977 and is renown worldwide for
its C-130 expertise. The group also
complies with NATO Allied Quality
Assurance standards AQAP 2110.
Thanks to a competitive and
comprehensive offering, Sabena technics
has won numerous Maintaining in
Operational Condition (MOC) contracts.
Sabena technics training shares its knowhow
with you through EASA PART 147
accredited training programs, based
on more than 80 years of experience
in aircraft maintenance. Tailored to
customers’ needs, its programs can be
set up at its training centers in Brussels
and Bordeaux or at customers’ premises
anywhere in the world.
Sabena technics training is a founding
member of the Airbus Maintenance
Training Network. This privileged
partnership enables the company to
offer the latest standards of training
services, such as Airbus Competence
Training (ACT).
Messier Services
HYDREP, a joint-venture set up between
Sabena technics and Messier Services, provides
a complete range of landing gear and hydraulic
component support services on regional and
business aircraft and helicopters.
HYDREP offers:
• Landing gear and hydraulics available
through lease or standard exchange
• Technical assistance at all airports
• Cost-per-landing contracts
• Engineering support (life-limited parts,
cycles, airworthiness directives, etc.)
TNT Airways
Launched in November 2009, the Belgian certified
Part 145 joint venture, X-air services, offers line & base
maintenance services and technical support from its
facilities located at Liège and Brussels Airports.
Nouvelair
Sabena technics MIR, based in Monastir,
Tunisia, is a joint venture set up with Nouvelair,
providing maintenance and engineering
services to Nouvelair’s fleet and third party
aircraft. The site benefits from a hangar facility
capable of servicing up to A321 aircraft types.
IAMCO
(International Aerospace Management Company)
In 1991, Sabena technics joined forces with
four major aircraft maintenance providers to
create a joint venture under the name IAMCO,
acting as the Industrial Prime Contractor for
NATO Airborne Warning and Control Systems
(AWACS) and Trainer Cargo Aircraft (TCA)
fleet maintenance.
