Thursday, July 26, INK (Interactive Neighborhood<br />

for Kids), Gainesville, an interactive play experience<br />

for children. Meet <strong>at</strong> 9:30 a.m. <strong>at</strong> FBC <strong>to</strong><br />

caravan, INK opens <strong>at</strong> 10 a.m. Cost is $8 per child and<br />

$8 for adults. Children under 2 are free. Pack a sack<br />

around the needs of your family. Use<br />

this guide as you plan adventures for your<br />

preschool and elementary age children.<br />

Out” on Wednesday nights, MOSAIC Arts<br />

Terrific Tuesdays Schedule<br />

Terrific Tuesdays are field-trip style outings for rising<br />

1st through completed 6th graders. We will combine<br />

faith and fun with devotion times and missions<br />

opportunities in the course of our adventures.<br />

Space is limited, so register early by calling Carol<br />

<strong>at</strong> 706-778-4412. <strong>The</strong> deadline for registr<strong>at</strong>ion is<br />

noon Monday before each Terrific Tuesday event.<br />

Chaperones are needed, please call Becky Hughes,<br />

706-768-6727, if you can help. Parent check-in and pickup<br />

in the gym; enter through the portico <strong>at</strong> the corner<br />

of Foreacre and Larkin Streets.<br />

*denotes Preschool Playgroup opportunity on Terrific<br />

Tuesdays. Preschool parents and caregivers must<br />

provide own transport<strong>at</strong>ion and child supervision.<br />

Tuesday, June 5, My Community Day.<br />

9 a.m. <strong>to</strong> 2 p.m. (parent pick-up) We will package dog<br />

tre<strong>at</strong>s with a Proverb <strong>to</strong> pass out <strong>at</strong> <strong>Cornelia</strong>’s new Club<br />

Canine Bark Park. We will <strong>to</strong>ur the park, then head over<br />

<strong>to</strong> <strong>Cornelia</strong> Park for playtime and picnic. After lunch,<br />

we will prayer walk down<strong>to</strong>wn <strong>Cornelia</strong> and end back<br />

<strong>at</strong> the church for a freezer tre<strong>at</strong>. <strong>The</strong>re is no charge for<br />

this event.<br />

*Preschool Playgroup may join us <strong>at</strong> <strong>Cornelia</strong> Park <strong>at</strong> 11<br />

a.m. for playtime and picnic.<br />

Tuesday, June 19, Trip <strong>to</strong><br />

Atlanta!<br />

9 a.m. <strong>to</strong> 4 p.m. (parent pick-up).We will<br />

visit North American Mission Board missionaries Twyla<br />

and Kerry Jackson <strong>at</strong> Bezalel Church <strong>to</strong> hear about their<br />

ministry <strong>to</strong> the Arts Community in down<strong>to</strong>wn Atlanta.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Jacksons are sacred artists whose church plant is<br />

in a funky old the<strong>at</strong>er. <strong>The</strong> Jacksons will prayer walk<br />

with us four blocks <strong>to</strong> Centennial Olympic Park splash<br />

pad for a picnic and wet fun. Please wear a b<strong>at</strong>hing suit<br />

under your day clothes and bring a sack lunch. <strong>The</strong>re is<br />

no charge for this event.<br />

Tuesday, July 17,<br />

Greenville Zoo.<br />

9 a.m. <strong>to</strong> 4 p.m. (parent pick-up).<br />

Cost is $4.50 per child; extra for<br />

snack concessions, if desired. We<br />

will e<strong>at</strong> our sack lunches <strong>at</strong> the<br />

Zoo’s picnic shelter near the Africa exhibit.<br />

*Preschool Playgroupers may follow us <strong>to</strong> the Zoo and<br />

join us for lunch <strong>at</strong> the picnic shelter.<br />

9 a.m. <strong>to</strong> 3 p.m. (parent pick-up). Wear a b<strong>at</strong>hing suit<br />

under your day clothes. One-piece suits only for girls,<br />

please. We will e<strong>at</strong> our sack lunches under the reserved<br />

p<strong>at</strong>io. Cost is $6 per child; extra for snack concessions<br />

if desired.<br />

*Preschool Playgroupers may join us <strong>at</strong> the Splash Zone<br />

(there is a gre<strong>at</strong> preschool area) and e<strong>at</strong> lunch with us on<br />

the p<strong>at</strong>io. No food is allowed in the park, so be prepared<br />

<strong>to</strong> pack a cooler in the car and retrieve it <strong>at</strong> lunchtime,<br />

if you plan <strong>to</strong> e<strong>at</strong> with us on the p<strong>at</strong>io. Concessions are<br />

inexpensive, if you go th<strong>at</strong> route.<br />

<strong>Baptist</strong> Convention<br />

headquarters, Duluth/<br />

Sky Zone Trampoline<br />

Park, Suwanee. 9 a.m. <strong>to</strong> 3 p.m. (parent pick-up).<br />

We will <strong>to</strong>ur the beautiful facility th<strong>at</strong> is home <strong>to</strong> the<br />

Georgia <strong>Baptist</strong> Convention and meet some of the<br />

staff who work with children’s curriculum and e<strong>at</strong> our<br />

sack lunches in the café. Afterward, we will jump <strong>to</strong><br />

our hearts content <strong>at</strong> the indoor zero-rise trampoline<br />

park. Cost is $9 per child.<br />

*Preschool Playgroupers can <strong>at</strong>tend Sky Zone Trampoline<br />

Park. We have a 1 p.m. reserv<strong>at</strong>ion time <strong>to</strong> jump for one<br />

hour. You can jump longer for two dollars more. <strong>The</strong>re is<br />

a small <strong>to</strong>ddler jump zone.<br />

a unique cre<strong>at</strong>ive experience<br />

for rising 1st through<br />

art. Cost is $25 per child and<br />

is the theme for our Wednesday night program<br />

for rising 1st through completed 6th grades on the<br />

July 18, July 25, Aug. 1 and Aug. 8.<br />

(No Wednesday evening programs on June<br />

27, July 4 and July 11 due <strong>to</strong> MOSAIC, July 4th<br />

holiday and VBS)<br />

“Living Inside Out!” combines high-energy music,<br />

games and object lessons <strong>to</strong> teach Bible truths.<br />

Program starts <strong>at</strong> 6:15 p.m. with snack supper, ends <strong>at</strong><br />

7:30 p.m. in the gym.<br />
