Second round of Counselling for MDS / PG DIPLOMA COURSES
to be held on 25.05.2013
This has reference to admission for PG Dental MDS/ PG Diploma Courses for
the academic year 2013-14. The JSSU PGET-2013 test scores and rank list are
hosted on the web site: www.jssuni.edu.in . The following seats have fallen
vacant due to withdrawal by certain candidates provisionally admitted during
the First round of counseling and are given below:

*The candidates from the JSS University PG Dental Rank list 2013 (JSSU PGET -2013), who
had appeared in the first round of counseling and have been either allotted a seat or
waitlisted are only eligible to attend the 2nd round of counseling.

COUNSELING VENUE:
You are requested to report to the Office of JSS Medical College, Sri Shivarathreeshwara
Nagar , Mysore – 570 015 , Karnataka for counselling, as per the Schedule announced.
At the time of counselling, the candidates shall submit their original documents
and prescribed tuition fee compulsorily for allotment of seats. Without original
documents / Prescribed Tuition fee, candidates will not be allowed to attend the
counselling for selection of seats.
Following Original Certificates along with the 3 sets of photocopy are to be produced:
01. JSSU PGET - 2013 TAT card
02. JSSU PGET - 2013 (Downloaded copy of result from JSSU Website:
www.jssuni.edu.in
03. Proof of Date of Birth (SSLC/SSC/ 10 th or equivalent Certificates).
04. Marks cards – BDS – From First to Final year.
05. Attempt Certificate.
06. Internship completion certificate (if not completed, Provisional Completion letter
from Dean/Principal).
07. Provisional/ Permanent Registration of the Dental Council.
08. Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate.
09. Caste / Community Certificate.
10. An affidavit in the format signed by selfand countersigned by Parent / Guardian in
the presence of Notary Public on a stamp paper of Rs.50/- (ANNEXURE – V of the
Brochure)
11. Six passport-size colour photographs identical with photos already submitted.
12. Conduct/ Character certificate.
13. Migration Certificate.
14. Photo identity in original and one attested copy of the same which was produced
at the time of entrance test. (eg. passport/voters card/pan card/driving license).
Kindly Note:
If you do not report on the specified date and time, your application will be
deemed cancelled without any further notice and you shall forfeit your claim for
counselling and admission thereof.
The Candidates shall attend the counselling in person for selection of seats.
The option exercised by you in regard to selection of the course of study at the
time of counselling will be final. Any reason for non attendance for counselling will
not be accepted.
The candidates, who have not submitted the Original documents and demand
draft during counselling will not be allowed to attend the counselling for selection
of seats.
Please note that DD has to be purchased by the candidate / Parent. In case the
demand draft has been purchased by any person, necessary undertaking /
declaration has to be submitted as per the Proforma supplied by the University
(ANNEXURE – II of the Brochure).

NOTE:
The candidates from the JSS University PG Dental Rank
list 2013 (JSSU PGET -2013) 01-200, who had appeared
in the first round of counseling and have been either
allotted a seat or waitlisted are only eligible to attend
the Second round of counseling.
The candidates who were allotted a seat in the 1 st round
of counselling and who have subsequently withdrawn /
forfeited their seat are not eligible for attending the
Second round of counselling.
The candidates from the JSS University PG Dental Rank
list 2013 (JSSU PGET -2013), who had appeared in the
first /second round of counseling and have been either
allotted a seat or waitlisted are only eligible to attend
the 3rd and final round of counseling.
The candidates who were allotted a seat in the 1st / 2nd
round of counselling and who have subsequently
withdrawn / forfeited their seat are not eligible for
attending the final round of counselling.
Annual Fee Structure:
You are advised to bring the following fees for payment if your admission is confirmed
during the counseling session.

• Mode of payment: Please bring the DD in favour of “Principal, JSS Dental College,
Mysore” payable at Mysore.

GUIDELINES FOR REFUND OF FEE FOR PG DENTAL ADMISSION – 2013.
The following guidelines for refund of fees are brought to the notice of the
prospective students:
1. The student is required to submit all the original certificates and the
requisite course fee to the University for Confirmation of admission at the
time of counseling.
2. If any student surrenders his / her seat between May 25, 2013 and on or
before May 29 th , 2013, 5:00 PM he/ she will have to forfeit the fees for first
year paid by him/her. However, the certificates surrendered by him /
her would be returned.
3. Any surrender of seats after final counselling on May 30 th , 2013, would
involve the student having to pay the full course fee of three years / two
years, as the case may be, since the consequent vacancy created by
such forfeiture cannot be filled by the University.
4. The refund will be subject to the encashment of Demand Draft
submitted by the candidate.
The above guidelines are final and no request to vary from the above
guidelines will be entertained.
