Dept <strong>of</strong> <strong>Youth</strong> services & sports <strong>Gulbarga</strong><br />
Brief Report <strong>of</strong> various schemes implemented in this<br />
<strong>of</strong>fice during the year – 2010.<br />
1) Rural sports Centre : Under this Scheme 20 High Schools (2 each fro 10 taluk)<br />
are selected as rural sports centers and yearly sports<br />
equipments are supplied to conduct the training camps for<br />
the talented sports boys & girls.<br />
2) Sports School : 26 boys have been admitted in the sports Hostel, food has<br />
been supplied as per the guide lines <strong>of</strong> the Dept.Further<br />
equipments & uniform have been purchased & supplied to<br />
the inmates <strong>of</strong> the sports school.<br />
3) Organization <strong>of</strong> sports & : Under this scheme various sports & Games, <strong>Youth</strong> rallies,<br />
Games payment <strong>of</strong> TA/DA <strong>Youth</strong> festivals have been organized at taluk, <strong>District</strong> &<br />
To participants<br />
Divisional level. Further TA/DA have been paid to the<br />
Participants for having participated in Dist.Divisional &<br />
State level meets & Rallies.<br />
4) Construction & : Under this Scheme, <strong>District</strong> stadium <strong>Gulbarga</strong> &<br />
Maintenance <strong>of</strong> Stadium completed stadium i.e Jewargi, Gurmitkal & Yadgir has<br />
Been covered for maintenance.<br />
5) Indoor stadium & open : Under this scheme the Indoor stadium has been<br />
Air Theater<br />
maintained.<br />
6) Financial Aid to poor : Financial assistant in the form <strong>of</strong> monthly pension to<br />
Sports persons & wrestlers have been given every year.<br />

7) Financial Assistance to : Under this Scheme this track suits has been purchased &<br />
Students<br />
distributed to students who have participated in the state<br />
level rural sports.<br />
8) Purchase <strong>of</strong> sports : Sports equipments have been purchased & distributed to<br />
Equipments & assistance the <strong>District</strong> sports center.<br />

9) Distribution <strong>of</strong> sports : Under this Scheme Sports materials has been purchased<br />
Materials & development & distributed to school for coaching classes in sports &<br />
Of play field in schools Games.
10) Encouragement <strong>of</strong> Rural : To popularize the rural sports coaching camp have<br />
Sports<br />
been conducted in the rural areas.<br />
11) Construction <strong>of</strong> : Under this scheme taluka stadium at Chitapur & Aland<br />
Taluka stadium under has been taken up & the works is in progress.<br />
TFC<br />
12) Yuva Chetana & Yuva : Members <strong>of</strong> youth club are deputed for these training<br />
Preranna & Yuva camps at Vidya nagar Bangalore & members <strong>of</strong> Yuvati<br />
Savanna training camp Sangha is deputed to Kumbalgodu.<br />
