WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Why choose us?
If you’re like us, you know the value of great photography. It’s probably one of the top items
on your wedding to-do list. You don’t take yourself too seriously, though, nor do you want
hundreds of photos of you, especially not ones where you’re held in a stiff pose looking right
at the camera. You know you want beautiful photographs of your wedding day because you
know your photos will be some of the most tangible memories you’ll have of that day.
You want your photographer to really care about the light, the composition, the details but
more than anything else you want your photographer to care about people. You want us to
help you feel comfortable with us and in front of our cameras because you know that’s how
great photos are made. Great photos happen when you’ve let go of your inhibitions and feel
comfortable to be yourself.
This is what we love to do. We create beautiful and contemporary wedding photographs for
creative and easygoing couples in love.
a little bit about Christina
I have a soft spot for bright, warm
and blissful imagery. I consider
myself to be a quiet gal by nature
with a generally sunny disposition
and many times I’ve been told that my
calm and laid-back personality helps my clients
feel at ease in front of the camera, making
for timeless photos full of genuine love
and emotion.
As a relatively new Vermonter I’ve fully embraced
the slow-paced life, the lack of rushhour
traffic and the gorgeous summers that
make up for the seemingly endless winter
months. When I’m not behind the camera,
you’ll find me hanging with my two fluffy
kitties, finishing one of many wood-working
projects, catching up with friends over a good
cup of coffee or planning a new adventure
I stumbled upon the wedding photography
with my love, Toby. (who incidentally also
world through Christina who brought me on
doubles as my business partner).
as her trusty assistant during sessions and
wedding days. I’m the friendly guy making
sure family formals go by quickly
and smoothly while simultaneously
getting that candid shot of you two
making each other laugh.
and a little bit about Toby
The outdoors is my favorite place to be. Take
me somewhere far away from any city, give
me a camera and starry skies and I’m a happy
camper. I’m incredibly passionate about
photography and all things technology. I’m a
geek at heart and I’m always learning about
the newest photo and tech gear and gadgets.
When I’m not working with Christina, you’ll
find me online where I’ve combined my passion
for photography and my background in
education to teach photography to folks all
over the world.
Engagement Sessions
Let’s get to know each other, shall we?
Besides your family and coordinator (if you’re working with one) we’ll be spending almost all day with
you. An engagement session is the best way to become friends before the day. Best of all, it’s totally free.
The purchase of a custom collection, all couples receive a complimentary local engagement session.
These sessions include one hour of quality shooting time with us and they can take place right here
in Brattleboro or up to 30 minutes away. If you’re interested in a full engagement session you can
add it on at booking time for an additional fee.
Why are our engagement sessions complimentary? Well, after seeing the effect engagement sessions
have on our wedding day interactions with brides and grooms, we decided that we wanted all couples
to have the opportunity to work with us before the wedding day. We took the additional cost of
the session completely out of the equation, which, makes your choice simple: You either take advantage
of the session, or not!
We’re totally biased. We absolutely love and thoroughly enjoy these pre-wedding portrait sessions.
They’re an opportunity for all of us to get to know each other and work together without the pressure
of a wedding day timeline. If you choose to do an engagement session, when we arrive to photograph
your wedding day there’ll be no surprises and you’ll feel so much more comfortable with
us and in front of our cameras. Our sessions are also surprisingly fun. You may not love the idea of
striking a pose in front of a stranger with camera for two hours but that’s not how the sessions usually
run. We try to make them fun, work with you to choose a location that fits your style and head
out to stroll around and take pictures for a couple of hours. Think of it as a documented casual
afternoon date out. Bring some meaningful props or your favorite furry friend and really make it a
memorable experience.
As a bonus, you’ll have a set of great images to remember this time in your life: The brief time between
your engagement and your wedding. You can use these photos in save-the-date cards, invitations,
gifts or frame a couple to display in your home.
We really hope this convinced you but if you’re still hesitating about doing an engagement session,
be sure to tell us “why?” If we still can’t convince you, then maybe we can meet up for some coffee or
a cocktail (on us, of course!) to get to know each other before the big day.

F.A.Q
frequently asked questions
What does “full day” coverage mean?
Full day coverage means that we start shooting 1 hour before the bride and groom are ready for the ceremony
and we stay through the reception highlights plus some of the party. This allows you to focus your wedding day and
not on your watch, even if things run a little late. Full day coverage does not mean unlimited coverage. We find that
unlimited coverage usually leads to a large quantity of repetitive images and we strongly believe quality is better than
quantity.
How many photos will we receive?
This largely depends on the amount of coverage you choose. For full day coverage we typically deliver between
500 to 700 culled and corrected images from your wedding. We try to keep our final selection as close to 500 as possible
since it can be overwhelming to look through so many images from your wedding.
What is the turnaround time for wedding and engagement photos?
During our busiest months (May through October) our turnaround time is between 4 to 6 weeks for wedding
photos. For engagement sessions, our turnaround time is typically between 2 to 4 weeks. In the peak of our season
we will prioritize the delivery of wedding photos to engagements, so if you were hoping to receive your engagement
photos in time for save the dates, be sure to schedule your session between 3 to 6 months before the wedding.
What’s the furthest distance you travel?
We absolutely love to photograph weddings in new and unique places. It inspires us to explore a location that
we don’t normally get to photograph, so we will travel as far as you want to take us. Our collections factor in travel
costs up to a certain distance in New England but for a small fee that will cover our lodging and transportation costs,
we’ll gladly travel just about anywhere in the world!
What is the difference between small, medium and high resolution?
Small resolution digital files will allow you to make prints that are up to 5x7 inches in size. Medium resolution
digital files will allow you to make prints that are up to 8x10 inches in size. High resolution digital files will allow
you to make prints that are up to 11x14 inches in size. Over the years we’ve found that the most popular print size
is 5x7 inches so we’ve included medium resolution files (8x10 inches) with our most popular collection to give you a
little bit of freedom if you want to print a photo larger than 5x7 inches. For an additional fee you can upgrade from
small or medium resolution to the next size up if you find that the size we’ve included in your collection is not enough.
We love your work and are ready to book. What’s the next step?
To book us for your wedding day and ensure that we turn down any new wedding inquiries we receive for
your date we require that you submit a retainer payment that should be equivalent to 50% of the total cost of the
collection you choose. We also have a wedding photography agreement that we ask you read and sign. We like to
keep things easy for everyone so we do all of our booking online. You can submit your payment online as well as read
and sign your wedding agreement online. After we talk on the phone I will send you a booking proposal and our
booking portal will guide you through the process of reserving your date. Payment plans are available upon request.
Could you tell us about the gear that you’ll be using at our wedding?
Sure! We ‘re proud to use professional-level Canon gear. I carry two camera bodies with me throughout most
of the day and Toby typically carries one. We also have a wide range of lenses that allow us to capture your day from
wide, close and reaaally close perspectives without being obtrusive to you and your guests. Bringing all of this gear
ensures that if one of our cameras or lenses fails, we have multiple back-ups to still be able to capture your day to
the best of our ability. If you’d like to know specific model information, I’d be happy to discuss that with you over the
phone.
