The course director is Goh Su Lin (Insead Executive MBA) of Emily Hill
and Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI). She practiced commercial
litigation before becoming the General Manager of The Necessary
Stage, then Consultant, Law & Business Affairs for MTV Asia, before
taking up her present position as General Manager of ITI, and cofounding
Emily Hill.
Su Lin is also a member of the Arts & Culture Manpower & Skills
Training Council of WDA, and has acted as guest speaker and
external examiner for classes at National University of Singapore
(NUS), LASALLE College of the Arts, Temasek Polytechnic,and
Columbia University.
Samuel Seow is the Managing Director of Samuel Seow Law
Corporation. His expertise and forte is in the field of Intellectual
Property(IP) with a special focus on the application of these laws to
the entertainment, arts and media industries.
Samuel has extensive experience in advising on and negotiating the
contractual and financial aspects of local and international deals and
structures for many entertainment and media businesses.
Furthermore, he also manages the IP portfolios, advises on
commercialisation strategies and resolves disputes arising from
production or IP rights. As part of his commitment to contribute to
the creative industries, Samuel is the legal advisor to many theatre
organisations, non-profit associations and companies.

Ms Elsie Tan
Leadership
Arthur Koo is a personal development coach, EQ trainer and outdoor
adventure facilitator. His passion is to build effective and high
performing teams. He believes in the power of questioning and
utilises questioning techniques to enable the participant to selfreflect,
self-learn and self-discover the numerous paths available to
them.
Arthur has conducted training for various groups, from major
corporations to schools.
ElsieTan has been engaged in teaching, training and facilitating work
since 1992. Her earlier career was in journalism, writing and editing
The Straits Times and United Press International. She believes that
inspired leadership arises from a deep understanding of the self and
a commitment to living in alignment with our values. She delights in
processes that facilitate this self-awareness and draws out from
people an enthusiastic desire to be their highest selves.
Elsie has worked with a wide variety of participants including young
children, teenagers on probation, people in prison, university
students, teachers and parents. Her focus has primarily been in areas
of life skills and values. Topics she has covered include envisioning,
goal setting, understanding feelings and needs, active listening and
exploration as well as clarification of values. Elsie has a Master of
Education from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Alfred Chan
Financial basics
Alfred Chan is the Managing Director of Imperial Consulting in
Singapore. He started his career started as an investment banker
with Morgan Guaranty (JP Morgan) and DBS Bank. For close to 20
years he worked as a management consultant with Andersen
Consulting (now Accenture).
Alfred was a partner with Arthur Andersen and later, a Director with
KPMG. Alfred’s work in management consulting has focused on
strategy, finance, privatisation and organisational advisory. Apart
from running Imperial Consultancy, Alfred also conducts training for
the company’s clients in his two areas of expertise: strategy and
finance.
Grace Clapham
Marketing
Grace began her career within the fashion industry in Australia as
sales & marketing manager for Gorman, a well-established Australian
designer brand. In 2010 she opened a brand management agency
based in Singapore and worked with newly launched fashion portal
ERIIN (www.ERIIN.com). In the same year she was a prior co-curator
for the TEDx Singapore Women event. In 2011 Grace was appointed
as one of the Global Ambassadors for the Citizens for Social Business
supported by Professional Muhammed Yunus. In 2012 along with two
co-organisers Grace was given the rights to bring in Creative
Mornings to Singapore, the first chapter in Asia.
A graduate from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts,
Media and Communications, Grace has a passion for inspiring young
entrepreneurs and individuals to take action and make a change, no
matter how big or small the action is. She is highly creative and
brings a unique set of talents and connections to the table. Her goal
of working with young entrepreneurs is to enable them to foster their
ideas with the desire to create a future society of creative
collaboration within the Asia Pacific region
