Proton Precise is a revolutionary new
concept in Cellar Beerline Cleaning. Instead
of guessing how much product to use, the
correct amount is pre-dosed in 500ml
bottles and ready to use straight away.
Why a 500ml bottle instead of a 5L container?
It’s Easier to Handle
No more trying to pour liquid from a heavy or bulky 5L container
which often leads to spillages, drips, splashes and cross
contamination.
It’s a Measured Dose
As a single dose, you simply unscrew the cap and pour the whole
bottle into the 50L cleaning vessel there and then.
This means no more overdosing, no more wastage and no more
partially used containers lying around.
Costs are More Controllable
As you only need to use one bottle per 50L cleaning vessel, by
knowing the number of cleaning vessels you use you can
determine your costs in advance.
It’s Better for the Environment
With no more overdosing, less amounts of chemicals are drained
away and of course, the bottle and cap are fully recyclable (subject
to local authority rules) too.

Is a 1% dilution rate strong enough to clean my lines?
All Proton beerline cleaners contain the precise amounts of active
cleaning ingredients to be effective at a 1% dilution rate in lines
that are cleaned using recognised industry procedures –
remember, beerlines should be cleaned thoroughly at least once
every 7 days.
Valpar, the leading designer and manufacturer of beerlines say
that to keep beerlines good for longer no more than 500ppm
(parts per million) of chlorine cleaner should be used each time
lines are cleaned. At 1% all Proton beerline products have been
designed to be below this limit.

How much money can I potentially save using Proton
Beerline Precise?
Each case is different and is dependent on usage – however, one
of the licensees taking part in our trials estimates he has reduced
his costs by over 70% using Proton Beerline Precise.

I currently use a competitor’s product and the
recommended dilution rate is more/less than Proton –
why is this?
Some beerline cleaners contain higher or larger amounts of
chemicals in them. These formulations tend to have a shorter shelf
life (proton beerline cleaners can last up to 12 months) meaning
there’s a greater chance they will have lost their effectiveness
before the 5L container is completely used up. There is also a
greater chance of damaging your beerlines when overdosing and
any spillages will be more hazardous to clean up too.
Some beerline cleaners use lesser or smaller amounts of
chemicals meaning they can be less effective at cleaning. This
means you have to add more product at higher dilution rates to
compensate. This means you’ll get through 5L much quicker and
need to replace it more often.
Can I buy Proton Precise through a distributor?
Not at the moment – initially Proton Precise will only be available
directly through Proton.
