COSTS REQUIREMENT<br />

COMES NOW the <strong>Kansas</strong> <strong>State</strong> Board of Healing Arts ("Board"), by and through its<br />

Executive Director, Kathleen Selzler Lippert, aduly authorized representative of the Board, in<br />

accordance with the provisions of the <strong>Kansas</strong> Administrative Procedure Act, K.S.A. 77-501 et<br />

seq., as amended, and upon due consideration of the agency record and applicable statutes and<br />

regulations, and being otherwise duly advised in the premises, makes the following<br />

determinations:<br />

1. On or about October 30, 2012, Licensee entered into a Consent Order with the<br />

Board for alleged violations of the <strong>Kansas</strong> Healing Arts Act, K.S.A. 65-2801, et seq. The<br />

Consent Order required Licensee attend and successfully complete the ProBe Program offered by<br />

the Center for Personalized <strong>Education</strong> for Physicians ("CPEP"), and to provide the Board<br />

documentation evidencing completion of the same by April 30, 2013; attend and complete the<br />

Patient Care Documentation Seminar offered by CPEP, and to provide the Board proof of<br />

successful completion by January 31, 2013; and participate in and successfully complete the<br />

Personalized Implementation Program component of the Patient Care Documentation Seminar<br />

offered by CPEP, and provide the Board proof of successful completion by August 1, 2013.<br />

Further, Licensee was required to pay costs in the amount of $273.40, which was due in full and<br />

payable to the Board by November 26, 2012.<br />

2. The Board record reflects that, on or about November 2, 2012, Licensee made his<br />

payment of$273.40.<br />

3. On or about April 15, 2013, Licensee submitted documentation evidencing<br />

completion of the ProBe Program presented by CPEP.<br />

4. On or about May 6, 2013, Licensee submitted documentation evidencing<br />

completion of the Patient Care Documentation Seminar presented by CPEP.<br />

5. On or about July 17, 2013, Licensee submitted documentation evidencing<br />

completion of the Personalized Implementation Program offered by CPEP.<br />

6. The Consent Order's requirements that Licensee not practice with, enter into a<br />

chiropractic management agreement with, enter into a chiropractic employer/employee<br />

relationship with or consult with or on any chiropractic patient matters with Bradley D. Eck,<br />

D.C, remain in force and effect with the Board pursuant to the October 30, 2012 Consent Order.<br />

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that Licensee is hereby discharged from all<br />

educational requirements and the requirement to pay costs as set forth in the Consent Order filed<br />

on October 30, 2012.<br />
