What is an SAED?<br />
An Semi-automatic external defibrillator (SAED) is:<br />
• A portable device<br />
• Able to recognise shockable rhythms in a patient in<br />
cardiac arrest<br />
• Able to deliver an electrical shock to revert the heart back<br />
to its normal rhythm<br />
