The BMA is an alliance of over 80 faith-based<br />

Gordon-Conwell’s Boston campus, also known<br />

as the <strong>Center</strong> for Urban Ministerial Education<br />

(CUME), is particularly focused on equipping<br />

urban pastors and church leaders for more effective<br />

ministry and outreach in their own communities<br />

and throughout the world. The <strong>Center</strong><br />

offers a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry<br />

(MAYM) degree which is a twenty (20) course<br />

program for persons who are called to minister<br />

to young people in <strong>churches</strong>, community organizations,<br />

and school related activities.<br />

GCTS—Boston offers a unique program of<br />

study for the training and equipping of men<br />

and women reaching out to the youth at risk<br />

in our cities. This program, called the Urban<br />

Christian Streetworkers Certificate Program,<br />

spans eight workshops/courses over two semesters.<br />

The <strong>Center</strong> also has masters level degree<br />

programs in education, counseling, and urban<br />

ministry, as well as standard theological and<br />

ministry degrees adapted to urban needs.<br />

for 15-20 youth. Stand High/Stand United is<br />

a weekend enrichment program for 50 youth<br />

involving mentoring, field trips, arts projects,<br />

and leadership opportunities.<br />

United Souls is a program providing transitional<br />

support to men involved with the criminal<br />

justice system or struggling with other life<br />

challenges.<br />
