The ABR has developed a new <strong>Exam</strong> <strong>Center</strong>, centrally located in <strong>Chicago</strong>, Illinois. The 30,372-square-foot center<br />
will seat approximately 560 examinees and is located at 5440 N. Cumberland Avenue, Suite 200, approximately 4-<br />
½ miles from O’Hare Airport and accessible from the <strong>Chicago</strong> Transit Authority’s Blue Line.<br />
The ABR is dedicated to providing high-quality images for its examinations—images that emulate those viewed in<br />
practice as closely as possible. Because it is becoming more difficult for commercial testing centers and society<br />
meetings to accommodate ABR diplomate numbers and meet the technical requirements <strong>of</strong> our examinations,<br />
beginning in 2012, the ABR’s Diagnostic <strong>Radiology</strong> and Subspecialty MOC examinations will be <strong>of</strong>fered twice<br />
yearly at the new <strong>Chicago</strong> Testing <strong>Center</strong>. The examinations will take place on one day, with two sessions <strong>of</strong>fered<br />
during the day. Beginning in October 2013, the MOC exams also will be administered at the ABR’s <strong>Exam</strong> <strong>Center</strong> in<br />
Tucson, Arizona, on the same twice-yearly schedule.<br />
The following pages include subway/walking directions via <strong>Chicago</strong> Transit Authority (CTA), driving directions from<br />
the airport to the center, and a list <strong>of</strong> nearby hotels.<br />

Subway/Walking Directions via <strong>Chicago</strong> Transit Authority (CTA) Blue Line Transit Station<br />
at O’Hare Airport to ABR <strong>Chicago</strong> <strong>Exam</strong> <strong>Center</strong> (~30 minute transit time)<br />
1) <strong>Board</strong> the Blue Line subway at O’Hare Airport heading toward Forest Park – approximately a 16-minute ride.<br />
2) Get <strong>of</strong>f the Blue Line subway at Cumberland Avenue stop.<br />
3) Exit Blue Line subway platform by heading west to highway overpass following the “South to Cumberland<br />
Ave” signs.<br />
4) Walk over highway overpass, heading south.<br />
5) From the bottom <strong>of</strong> the highway overpass stairway, head southeast to N. Cumberland Avenue.<br />
6) Continue south along N. Cumberland Avenue to address on the west side <strong>of</strong> the road.<br />
