Somerville College ˜ Report for Donors

“I made my first Will about twenty years ago when in my
early 40s. Within a year my aunt had died, leaving me a
legacy, then my husband also died, and together these events
concentrated my mind on the need to think carefully about
my own Will. Since then, I have reworked it twice as my
circumstances have changed.
Having no close family now, I have decided to leave small
sums to dear friends and a larger sum to my one godson.
Thereafter, everything is willed to a selection of charities.
I wanted to recognise the importance in my life of my
church and my College, so included Somerville. Of course,
it is impossible to know when it will come into effect or
quite what the sums of money will be at that time, but I
am confident that Somerville will put its share to good use.”
