This <strong>book</strong> is prepared with a view of kids learning <strong>Tamil</strong> in The USA. As<br />
they learn <strong>Tamil</strong> through English, <strong>book</strong>s like this will give added help to<br />
enhance and sustain their <strong>Tamil</strong> knowledge. These Books will become<br />
wonderful learning tools for children in the HTCS Language classes in<br />
particular and the community as a whole. As we place similar Books in The<br />
<strong>Temple</strong> website (www.venkateswara.org), global access becomes very easy.<br />
This <strong>book</strong> will later be followed by <strong>Tamil</strong> Work<strong>book</strong>-2 and Advanced <strong>Tamil</strong><br />
Work<strong>book</strong>.<br />
<strong>Tamil</strong> Work<strong>book</strong>-1 for children was prepared and processed by Mrs.<br />
Ramya Raghavan, Mr. Rajesh Raghavan, and Dr. A. R. <strong>Sri</strong>nivasan. The<br />
continuing support of HTCS for educational activities in our <strong>Temple</strong> is very<br />
much appreciated. Eventually, more such <strong>book</strong>s will be added to our web.<br />
