• All cheques returned as N.S.F. will be subject to a $75 penalty. This entry will be 

assessed a $500 late fee and will be subject to the approval of the Organizing 

Committee.

card, THE CARD MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE TOURNAMENT OFFICE at

bound by the Constitution Rules of Equine Canada and the 

Spruce Meadows Prize List including, without limitation, 

the Code of Conduct and the Liability clauses. I understand 

that the Equine Canada divisions of the Spruce Meadows 

tournaments are governed by C.C.E.S. in which case I accept 

the rules and regulations of C.C.E.S. and that all the Spruce 

Meadows Tournaments will be governed by the laws of 

the land and if there are suspicious incidents, the proper 

authorities will be called in to handle these situations. I 

have read and understand the above rules & guidelines as 

listed above and in the 2013 Prize List. 

It is hereby recognized that all equestrian sports involve 

inherent risks that no helmet or protective equipment 

can protect against all foreseeable injury I hereby accept 

this risk and hold harmless EC, FEI, the competition, 

their officials, organizers, agents, employees, and their

NOMINATION / ENTRY and 

ADMINISTRATION FEES 

• If you are unsure of which divisions your horse might be ready for, consider 

nominating for the divisions in which you are most likely to compete in. 

You can change nominations up to 5:00 p.m. on the day before the 

FEI Jog of the Tournament - after this time, there is a late charge of $200 

for any nomination changes (and no refund for dropped divisions). PLEASE 

NOTE: The nomination/entry fee will not be refunded if your 

horse does not compete in a particular division. 

• Nomination Fee: All divisions have a Nomination Fee to be paid at time of 

entry. Start Fees are charged to your horse’s account after you have declared 

your horse for competition - DO NOT include these on your form. These fees 

are paid when you close your account at the end of the Tournament. 

• Miscellaneous Fees: Fees listed in each Tournament are mandatory. If you 

have not added them on your entry form, Spruce Meadows will make the 

corrections on your account and charges will be added to your credit card 

or horse account.

STABLING INFORMATION 

• Stalls: Spruce Meadows will endeavour to assign requested stabling 

to everyone. However, if it is not possible because of high demand, a 

credit will be applied to your horse’s account for the difference. If you are 

coming to Spruce Meadows with a barn, please be sure to check where the rest 

of your barn is stabling before you fill out your entry to avoid disappointment 

with the location of your stalls. 

• Due to increased FEI security requirements, FEI horses WILL NOT 

be stabled with National level horses. FEI horses will be in a 

separate stable area. Please plan your staff and tack stall requirements 

accordingly. 

• Extra Stalls: Please include the number of tack/grooming stalls needed in 

the “quantity” column. 

• Early/Late Stabling: Spruce Meadows is able to accommodate early stabling 

before the 'National' tournament and late stabling after the 'Pan American'. 

There is a $250 fine if your horse is found in an unauthorized stall. 

Horses that are not staying for the entire Summer Series MUST ARRIVE AND 

DEPART BY THE DATES AND TIMES LISTED ON PAGE 14 IN THE PRIZE 

LIST. Please make your own arrangements for stabling in the area outside of 

these dates and times.
