A Decade of Ministry!
MorningStar Senior Living is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Our charge to enrich the lives of
seniors goes beyond business and into the realm of a calling that began in 2003 when Ken Jaeger purchased
the land for our first home, MorningStar of Littleton. On that raw earth, Ken and his wife, Shanna,
walked ten summers ago, praying over the future ministry of MorningStar.
Since then, MorningStar’s rich history has been illuminated by all who’ve become a part of our family. We
are honored by the trust extended to us by seniors and their families. Thank you for all the ways you contribute
to our success.
To commemorate our continuing covenant with seniors, we are hosting Open Houses at all of our Denver
communities the weekend of July 26 & 27.
Appearing as a special performer at each Western BBQ will be Doug Watson, celebrated Will Rogers impersonator.
Trained by the Chautauqua Association and employed by the Will Roger Memorial Museum,
Doug has given 15 years to delighting audiences with the philosophic wit of Will Rogers. Will, a descendent
of the Cherokee tribe, distinguished himself in the early 20th century as a cowboy humorist, political commentator
and all-round entertainer. Serving music, Western style, will be local performer, Dave
Schaper. Join us for this celebration of pure Americana.
Please join MorningStar Dayton Place in celebration of the 10 th Anniversary on July 27 from 4 to 7PM. It
will be an unforgettable outdoor celebration with fabulous food and entertainment.
Together, as we give thanks for the blessings of the past ten years, MorningStar Senior Living celebrates
those by whom we are inspired and for whom we love to serve. Our seniors.
This anniversary season also celebrates new additions to our family: the opening of an Information Center
at MorningStar at Jordan in Centennial (opening Spring 2014), the August Grand Opening of MorningStar at
Mountain Shadows in Colorado Springs, and the October Grand Opening of MorningStar at Arcadia in Phoenix,
AZ. These three new communities will offer assisted living and memory care.
