share these values is our greatest reward.
Whether in an industrial work environment,
a civil or municipal area, or a highly
specialized venue, Roco concentrates on
providing training, equipment and safety
solutions that help to alleviate risks and
provide for prompt, effective rescue
response.
For 30 plus years, safety has been our
mission – after all, there’s a safe way and
a SAFER way. When it comes to the safety
of your responders and your employees, we
“At Roco, we are focused on providing safe and effective rescue
solutions – whether it’s training, equipment or services. You can be
compliance
We know that meeting compliance and certification
requirements can be a challenge. Whether it’s
third-party certification to NFPA 1006 – or meeting
the annual confined space practice requirements of
1910.146, we have the right program for you.
Our “Rescue Technician” certification programs
are based on the skills requirements of NFPA 1006
and 1670 and include both performance testing and
written exams. This third-party certification can
be used to document individual skills proficiency
of your team members in accordance with OSHA
1910.146 Permit-Required Confined Spaces.
If you choose to use our Contracted Safety
& Rescue Teams (CSRT), you’ll get this same
compliance and rescue capability. You can rest
a little easier knowing that our trained and
equipped rescue professionals are on site and
ready to respond.
®
You can also be confident in the equipment that
we offer. We only recommend what we use –
equipment that’s tried and proven on a daily basis
in our training programs and stand-by operations.
Our goal is to provide you and your team members
with the right equipment for the job that meets the
latest standards, such as NFPA and ANSI.
Contracted Safety & Rescue Teams (CSRT)
With careful preplanning, we believe that most
rescue incidents can be prevented – and that’s
our goal. Roco’s CSRT services can provide added
safety for your jobsite while supporting confined
space entries or working-at-height projects.
Our team will carefully assess the scope of work
and create detailed rescue “preplans” for each
operation. Prevention comes first, but a strong plan
of action should be ready if rescue is necessary.
We offer flexible contract lengths or extended
service options including a full-time, on-site
presence. For more details on how our CSRT
services can offer increased safety along with
rescue compliance for your site, give us a call.
escue challenge
Roco Rescue Challenge is a super-charged two-day
event that will put team skills to the test. Realistic
scenarios, rapid deployment drills, simulated IDLH
practice drills, and high angle rescue evolutions
will challenge the most experienced rescue teams.
While not a competition, trophies are awarded
to the top performing teams in the Individual Skills
Evaluation (IPEs) and in Roco’s infamous “Yellow
Brick Road.” The multi-stage scenarios begin
with basic rescue operations and quickly progress
to more complex confined space and elevated
rescue scenarios.
Roco Rescue Challenge meets the annual rescue
practice requirements of 1910.146 while providing
realistic practice drills in all six confined space
types. Written documentation will be provided to
each team following the event.
®
Participants will also be able to interact with other
teams from around the nation as they share ideas
and rescue experiences. All rescue teams are
welcome and observer registration is available.
Dates and locations for Roco Rescue Challenge
can be found online.
It’s important to select scenarios that are close representations of
actual rescues that you may need to perform. That’s what Roco Rescue
Challenge is all about – realistic practice scenarios under demanding
conditions that allow your team to be better prepared, operate more
safely and reduce time on the scene.
tactical rescue
The U.S. military has one of the hardest and
most demanding jobs in the world. At Roco, we
understand those challenges. As a U.S. Department
of Defense (DoD) contractor, our tactical training
and equipment offerings are tailored to the needs
of DoD small team operations.
Roco tactical services have been engineered by
veteran personnel who have been in the trenches.
We analyze current SOF missions and use the
intel to develop realistic, mission-specific training
programs.
This hands-on approach is essential for selecting
and developing equipment combinations, or
“tactical kits,” best suited for SOF rescue
operations. All Roco equipment meets or exceeds
rigorous safety standards, and is tested for
operational effectiveness and suitability before it
receives our seal of approval, or yours.
®
Roco tactical assets deliver a depth of experience,
expertise and creative energy to DoD customers in
all branches of the military. For those challenged
with defending freedom and saving lives in theatres
across the globe, Roco is the right choice.
“Combat is a dynamic environment that is constantly changing and
testing your ability to survive. Your training should be no different –
changing to meet current missions and offering solutions to problems
routinely encountered. That’s where Roco can help.”
