organizes sightseeing tours of Belgrade from a ship
sailing down the Sava and the Danube.
Tours: Regularly scheduled sightseeing tour which includes
the presence of a professional guide. The Belgrade Ship has
a capacity of 60 passengers. Departure is in front of the Jugoslavija
Hotel Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays at
6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 4 and 6 p.m. The cruise
takes about 90 minutes.

One of the most popular cycle routes in Europe, The Danube Cycle
Route, which used to run only through Germany, Austria and Hungary,
now continues up to the Black Sea
In 2007 already, the second detailed map for
the Danube Cycle Route from Budapest to the
Black Sea, over Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania
is available for you!
This map will make it possible for you to explore the still unknown
Danube regions and experience its highlights. It includes accommodation
facilities and restaurants, as well as the most important monuments,
all marked on the map. Besides, you can find information about
the Water Tourism, such as harbours and marinas.

In 2007 The Danube cycle route in Serbia has been
completely signposted from the Hungarian border to the
Belgrade in the length of 320 km!!!
The eastern part of the route, through
National Park “Iron Gate”, shall be
signposted in 2008.

From the parking place of the museum, take the old, narrow asphalt road over the cliffs and
cross the narrow canyon of the river Boljetin with its ancient rocks.

Because of its width, the Danube looks like a sea. When you arrive here, you will have the
second biggest uphill of the Serbian Danube Cycle Route in front of you (2km length, 125m
difference in height), a beautiful slope along the Danube follows.

(1.7km length, 80m height difference) or you can drive directly to the town called Donji

A unique view of the narrowest point of the Danube Canyon. Here, the Danube is only 150m
wide and 90m deep. There is a water spring, please drive carefully through the long tunnel.
The Balloon is situated at the River Traffic Light Station. Before the construction of the
Đerdap artificial lake, there was little space and only two boats could pass by each other.
Because of this, a metal alarm with a big aluminium ball was used to manage the boat
traffic. Beginning of the most difficult uphill of the Serbian Danube Bicycle Route, at the
length of 4km, represents a 180m level difference to be managed. At the Romanian side,
the Decebal Hills can be seen.
Wonderful view of the Danube, Plate of the Roman Emperor Trojan (visible only from
water) dating back to 103 BC, where the conquering of the Danube Canyon was celebrated.

Autumn in Smederevo
An event devoted to grape-picking and wine-making. A Procession of costumed and
mounted medevial knights, accompanied by ladies of the court dressed in ornate
garments, is followed by grape-pickers and cultural and entertainment activities taking
place in famous Smederevo Fortress.
Sremski Karlovci, Grape Picking
Held in the unique town-museum, its purpose is the affirmation of cultural and touristic
values of Sremski Karlovci and its neighbourhood, promotion of wine production as well
as preservation of grape picking customs.
