SIMPSON SIGNS LARGeST eVeR CHINA YACHT ORDeR<br />

simpson Marine has announced<br />

<strong>the</strong> signing of a contract to supply<br />

33 Lagoon sailing catamarans<br />

to a customer in China. The fleet will<br />

comprise a mix of Lagoons ranging in<br />

size from 40 to 62ft and will be used<br />

by <strong>the</strong> buyer, Guangzhou based luxury<br />

members club, tiger club World, to<br />

introduce its high net worth members to<br />

<strong>the</strong> pleasures of yachting.<br />

“this is <strong>the</strong> largest ever single order<br />

of yachts for delivery into <strong>the</strong> growing<br />

china market, eclipsing <strong>the</strong> order for<br />

30 Beneteau First 40.7s for <strong>the</strong> china<br />

Cup five years ago” said Mike Simpson,<br />

Managing Director of simpson Marine<br />

after <strong>the</strong> signing ceremony in Guangzhou.<br />

complete this type and size of deal. We<br />
