JUNIOR GOLF <strong>PROGRAMS</strong><br />

Golf Clinics (ages 5-14)<br />

Junior Clinics offer juniors opportunities to experience the wonders<br />

of golf in a healthy, fun and positive environment.<br />

This programming is designed to create interest and foster development<br />

in beginning and intermediate golfers. Coto’s staff will help develop and<br />

improve the swing by placing strong emphasis on the fundamentals:<br />

• Stance<br />

• Grip<br />

Junior Golf Clinics Include:<br />

Eight hours of FUN and a junior golf gift package.<br />

JUNIOR AQUATICS <strong>PROGRAMS</strong><br />

Coto Coyotes Competitive Swim Team (ages 5 - 18)<br />

The Coyotes are a year-round competitive swim team that focuses on<br />

technical training as well as having fun while working out. Practices<br />

will be in the morning, and all skill levels are welcome. To be on the<br />

Coyotes, swimmers must be able to complete one full lap (25 yards)<br />

of freestyle swimming. The cost is based on the team level and number<br />

of workouts attended.<br />

Monday - Saturday | $85 - $145 | Every Four Weeks<br />

Coto Cubs (ages 4 - 18)<br />

The Coto Cubs is an introductory swim team designed to get children<br />

acquainted to the sport of swimming. Practices focus solely on the<br />

fundamentals of the sport while teaching the appropriate swimming!<br />

To be on the Cubs, swimmers must complete a half lap (12.5 yards) of<br />

freestyle swimming.<br />

Private Lessons (all ages)<br />

Private lessons are offered throughout the year at a time that<br />

is convenient for the member. Private lessons are a great<br />

way to get one-on-one attention to help swimmers improve<br />

immensely. Whether for competition, for fitness or just to be<br />

safe in the water, private lessons will improve your swimming<br />

skills. Our instructors have all had years of experience and are<br />

here for you whenever you would like your lesson.


JUNIOR TENNIS <strong>PROGRAMS</strong><br />

The Coto de Caza Summer Tennis program is designed for kids of<br />

all ages and abilities. The goal of the program is to maximize each<br />

player’s potential and enjoyment of the sport of tennis, as well as<br />

instill the concepts of fun, hard work and sportsmanship.<br />

FIVE Classes are available:<br />

Tiny Tots<br />

4 - 6 years old<br />

Rookies<br />

7 - 10 years old<br />

Future Satellites<br />

9 - 12 years old<br />

High School Group 14 - 18 years old<br />

Tournament Players 12 - 18 years old<br />

All participants who attend any weekly<br />

session will receive a camp T-shirt.<br />

This energy intense series will teach little ones basic<br />

techniques, hand-eye coordination and the necessary skills<br />

needed to become a Rookie!<br />

Monday - Thursday | 10:30 - 11:00 am<br />

$50 per session per child for members<br />

$70 per session per child for non-members<br />

Rookies (ages 7-10)<br />

The Rookies series are designed to introduce and develop<br />

techniques as well as develop the basic tennis skills learned in Tiny<br />

Tots. Our goal for our Rookies is to have them know and execute<br />

all strokes as well as understand the rules and scoring of tennis.<br />

Monday - Thursday | 11 am - 12:30 pm<br />

$120 per session per child for members<br />

$140 per session per child for non-members<br />

Future Satellites (ages 9-12)<br />

The Future Satellites series are designed for the continued<br />

development of basic tennis skills and the introduction of<br />

competitive playing techniques. Learning to keep score and<br />

preparing each child to move into the world of competitive tennis.<br />

Monday – Thursday | 11 am - 12:30 pm<br />

$120 per session per child for members<br />

$140 per session per child for non-members


High School Group (ages 14 - 18)<br />

The High School group is for kids who have the desire to continue<br />

to learn all aspects of tennis. Emphasis will be on learning the<br />

strategies of both singles and doubles.<br />

$150 per session per child for members<br />

$170 per session per child for non-members<br />

Tournament Players<br />

(ages 12-18 & Junior Director Approval Needed)<br />

The Tournament Players series are for players who have the ability<br />

to play matches and are competitive. These players will continue<br />

to develop more advanced technique and prepare for high school<br />

and tournament play. As part of this preparation, each participating<br />

junior will take part in the following:<br />

SCTA Satellite Tournaments<br />

A list of upcoming tournaments will be handed out during the<br />

first session. Participation in these events are greatly encouraged.<br />

SCIENCE, ARTS & CRAFTS CAMP<br />

With Mrs. B<br />

“Steve Spangler inspired Science experiments!”<br />

There’s nothing like an erupting volcano to get kids fired up about<br />

science. Does the thought of blowing a square bubble seem impossible?<br />

How about bouncing a bubble back and forth with a friend? Ms. B eats<br />

nails for breakfast, do you? Come to camp and let’s find out! Your kid<br />

will laugh, learn and have fun this summer with a variety of arts, crafts<br />

and cool experiments.<br />

This camp is designed for kids ages 3 – 12<br />

<strong>2015</strong> Coto Kids Golf Days:<br />

This event is available to all Members! Kids ages 5-12<br />

are invited to join us for an amazing adventure in golf.<br />

Exciting golf clinics with snag golf, target practice,<br />

water balloons and other FUN learning methods will<br />

be featured in this event. All juniors will participate in<br />

putting and chipping contests, get tee prizes, cool<br />

giveaways and more.<br />

Parents are invited to play 9 holes on the Windmill<br />

Course with their kids following the golf clinic. The<br />

BBQ will be available for Member charge.<br />

12:30 - 2 pm, Kids Clinic & BBQ<br />

2 pm, 9 holes on the Windmill Course<br />

$10++ per child | Parents are FREE<br />

Denim is not appropriate. Proper golf attire is required.<br />
