<strong>Black</strong>-<strong>necked</strong> <strong>Crane</strong> to determine<br />
the migration route.<br />
• Studies on habitat requirements of<br />
<strong>Black</strong>-<strong>necked</strong> <strong>Crane</strong>, e.g.<br />
– study on the vegetation of the<br />
wetlands used by the cranes as<br />
their nesting and feeding sites,<br />
and<br />
– study on the water quality of the<br />
wetlands which are being used as<br />
nesting sites.<br />
• A study on the socio-economic<br />
importance of the High Altitude<br />
Wetlands of Ladakh.<br />
