Central Police Force Canteen is a department established under the aegis of<br />
Ministry of Home Affairs operating with its HQs at New Delhi for providing goods and<br />
consumer durables to the personnel in active duty and retired CAPFs personnel which<br />
broadly includes BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles. This facility has now<br />
been extended to all security agencies under MHA like I.B., SPG, NCRB, CBI & also to all<br />
State Police serving and retired personnel and their families and also RPF.<br />
Central Police Canteen system is operating on PAN India basis. It has a wide<br />
network of 124 Master Canteens with around 650 Subsidiary Canteens/Outlets in different<br />
parts of the country. Master Canteens are working like depots which place demand to<br />
Manufacturers/Suppliers based on the demand of subsidiary canteen and further distribute<br />
stores to its subsidiary canteen/outlets.<br />
At present 149 Firms are registered with CPC. It has been ensured that all<br />
segments of daily consumable goods and house appliances are made available in these<br />
canteens.<br />
