Site Plan
The location of the project introduces Phoenix
Avenue as the gateway to the college. The
design is based on the conceptual idea that a
Phoenix rises from the ashes with renewed youth
to live through another cycle. This relationship
is represented by the cycle that all students
go through as they transition through their
educational careers, coming out with renewed
youth to live through the next cycle in their
lives. The focal point of the design becomes the
journey through the central circulation, which
leads through multiple assembly spaces and
terminating in the center courtyard. This space
is utilized as a gathering place for events or
simply for relaxing and watching students work.
