WATER, OUR PASSION 

Company profile 

Fratelli Fantini is a long-standing Italian company: moving its first steps in 1947, it 

became a small company in 1951 and the production of faucets and fittings quickly 

developed, characterized by quality from the very start. The objective of the two founding 

brothers of the company was to manufacture well-made products, different to 

what was available on the market at the time. The desire was not to run a large company 

with large numbers and sizes but rather be important for the attractiveness of 

the products, which would be appreciated almost as if they were unique and cared for 

like objects of personal use. The history of Fantini is based on passion: for the work, 

products and care in manufacturing them, today as it was then. These values upon 

which the company is built have become the cornerstones of the development strategy 

of the second generation at the helm. Thanks to its ability in doing and making Italian 

product quality known, Fantini currently enjoys international success with its products 

on sale in more than fifty countries, from the USA to China, from Australia to India, 

from South Africa to Argentina… 

Our location in Italy 

The Fantini family and company have always been deeply rooted in Pella, a small 

village on the banks of Lake Orta, a small North-Italian lake. 

In this special location, “in the middle of nowhere” because it is difficult to find on 

most maps, the landscape is crystallized in time and the atmosphere almost mystical. 

Far from large cities, water plays the starring role in the life of the local people. This 

area has a long tradition of producing metal products for everyday use, ranging from 

faucets to pots and pans.

Our location in the USA 

Fantini has design in its DNA and through the innovative structure of its products it 

has acquired an identity and uniqueness over time, which is recognized worldwide 

and distinguishes it on the international front. 

For these very reasons, it was a natural and spontaneous choice to establish ourselves 

here in the creative center of design in New York, in the A&D building, the prestigious 

location and showroom of the international design world. 

The vocation and history of Fantini have brought us here. 

What makes Fantini so special 

Fantini is an industry-studio, a company which produces on an industrial scale with 

the noble soul of the craft workers of the past. Each tap produced is imbued with 

extreme care, closer to that of a jeweler who refines his jewels in his studio than a 

producer of faucets and fittings! 

Technology is an aid along the road to innovation, manual and artisan skill are aids in 

the search for perfection and highest quality. 

Products with a minimal, modern, elegant design and 100% Made in Italy: this is the 

legacy of the company and of its long-standing production experience. 

Fantini invents and produces itself with a clear and ambitious objective in mind which 

is always fulfilled: invention, design and technology must proceed together, inseparable 

elements of creation targeted at the search for perfection, with the convinced 

determination that innovation of even the smallest detail of this productive microcosm 

can contribute to improving the quality of life. We believe that the Fantini product 

should be new and original but also complex, offering that extra something which 

can widen the gap between Fantini and its competitors. Almost everyone today makes 

viable well-made products which last over time, with various finishes, designed also by 

noted architects… Hence we have to increase the complexity of our product, always 

do something extra, special and innovative. 

Our work ethos 

Respect, entrepreneurial ethics, correctness: these are the core values of the company 

since its foundation. At the base, there is great respect for people, reliability and sense 

of duty. We believe in these values which are recognized and appreciated by customers 

and are the heart and soul of Fantini. 

The company works with many Italian and international designers well known for their 

talent and skill in anticipating new trends before others, but the products are always 

the result of team work, which puts the individual, his qualities and skills at the epicenter 

of the process. From the designer to the technician, from the manager to the 

production worker, each contributes to the final result of the product. 

Over time this quality of work which creates innovation has brought us the most 

important international design awards and some of our products have been included 

in the design collections of important museums around the world. However, the biggest 

satisfaction for the company is to know that these products are enjoyed by people 

and can be found in their homes!

Our respect for the environment 

The beauty of the place in which we work and live, with the constant presence of water 

in all its forms in our everyday life, awakes our green conscience for the environment 

and its protection. The desire and the will to work in harmony and symbiosis with this 

natural environment and the protection of people, which is of the utmost importance 

to us, guide our strategic and operative choices: from the purchase of raw materials in 

certified locations, to the manufacture of lead-free brass alloy products; from the use 

of recyclable cardboard for packaging to that of certified paper, originating in places 

where deforestation has not been practiced, for our communication tools; from accurate 

waste disposal to the use of the most advanced eco-friendly techniques. To purify 

water, our most precious asset, is a priority in our way of doing things. 

Our objective 

The key strategic and commercial objective is to know how to readily and efficiently 

respond to the most important customers of the global market: worldwide the best 

Fantini customers are demanding, sophisticated and classy, and the company must 

always be at their same level, not only with the idea of providing answers to their 

requests but, ambitiously, to succeed at times to amaze them with truly special products 

which are very innovative and beyond their already high expectations! They are 

people with very high aspirations, but profoundly different in terms of culture, history 

and customs. For Fantini, the key objective is to understand the place, people and 

working habits, before dealing with the design and style of the products, which differ 

from the rest, even before selling the products. 

With great earnest and determination we have prepared ourselves to respond with 

flexibility to the specific requests of the American market, respecting the rules and 

local standards on materials and products, and the working habits of our customers.
