The Rotary Club <strong>of</strong> Lakewood Ranch invites you to participate in the<br />

2013 <strong>Suncoast</strong> <strong>Food</strong> & <strong>Wine</strong> Fest on November 9, 2013<br />

The <strong>Suncoast</strong> <strong>Food</strong> & <strong>Wine</strong> Fest is our club’s annual major fundraiser, providing more than $1,110,000 to<br />

charities during our eleven year history. This event has become a Sarasota/Manatee community tradition<br />

allowing us and our sponsors, restaurants, and wine distributors to assist many charitable organizations as<br />

well as to contribute to Rotary International’s humanitarian initiatives. A list <strong>of</strong> some <strong>of</strong> the charities we have<br />

been fortunate to assist during the past 11 years is on the back cover <strong>of</strong> this sponsorship presentation.<br />

In 2012 our event raised more than $110,000, and we received fifty-four grant applications with requests<br />

for financial assistance. We were able to provide funding for twenty-six different charitable organizations.<br />

The need is great and our resources are limited; therefore, we are deliberate and conscientious in selecting<br />

those who receive funding. The community has come to recognize our commitment to help, and we are<br />

determined to continue to do so.<br />

The Rotary Club <strong>of</strong> Lakewood Ranch is a 501(c) (3) non-pr<strong>of</strong>it organization, and our members are already<br />

hard at work on this year’s event with the goal <strong>of</strong> making this our most successful year ever.<br />

We plan to have nearly 2500 attendees at this annually sold out event and hope that you will choose to join us<br />

in our service and support <strong>of</strong> those in need in our community.<br />
