Hall 1A / Main auditorium
The main auditorium has 850 seats and has been designed with a theatrical look; the stage area has a standard
proscenium arch with forestage lift. The Auditorium houses a full counterweight flying system however the flying
height is reduced. The space is equipped with a full state-of-the-art technical specification for lights, sound and
AV.
The main theatre also has a very good load in area (known as loading bay 1) and can house a 40 ft vehicle or a
7.5 tonne truck. There is also a large goods lift from the load in area to the main stage. The stage is a sprung
maple floor covered in hardboard which is painted black and can be carpeted for an additional cost.
The space also houses many backstage rooms that can be used for dressing rooms or Client offices. There is
also an extensive control room and a follow spot room plus a projector room for front projection.
Hall 1C & 1B / Revolving drums
These can either be used as part of the main auditorium/ Hall one or as a stand alone space. When they are
linked with the main auditorium they provide an additional 250 seats in each drum.
When they stand alone they have their own stage area which is carpeted. There are also four motorised flying
bars in the space above the stage to enable the clients to hang banners and lighting.
Breakout rooms
There are 16 breakout rooms that can be used for many options from catering to conferences. When booked for
conferences there is often an inclusive technical package included with the rental that provides basic conference
sound and vision equipment.
The Multi Purpose Hall
The Multi purpose hall has many configurations which are achieved by using moveable walls. When the hall is
split into its full compliment of six individual rooms these are normally used as smaller breakout rooms or
plenary sessions for conferences. The hall can also be used as a large exhibition space as the space has an
extensive rigging system in the roof. There are also several lighting gantries in the hall. Power can come from
under the floor or from the roof to accommodate most requests.
The hall has a full drape compliment which is black fabric around the hall. This can be drawn back to reveal
daylight or to allow production companies to project lighting onto the walls for events. There is also a permanent
fitted grey carpet. Hall 2 shares its loading bay (known as Loading Bay 2) with the Echo Arena which benefits
from a large loading area and a flat load in.
Our production department will assign a production manager to your event to liaise with you about your technical
aspects and they will endeavour to provide you with all the plans and information that you need. In addition to
this we are happy to provide you with quotes for your event.
Kind Regards,
Gail Wroth
Head of Production and Technical Services

Take the M62 to Liverpool. Proceed straight on through traffic lights at the end of the motorway following signs for City Centre
A5080 (also Albert Dock), under flyover with Jaguar garage on your left onto Edge Lane. Continue along dual carriageway (3
lanes narrow to 2). Across first traffic lights (Peugeot car dealership on left) and then left at next lights into Rathbone Road
(OK Diner on left).
At roundabout turn right (signposted Wavertree Technology Park) into Wavertree Avenue. 1/4 mile then road bears round to
right and then take left turn into Wavertree Boulevard. Proceed to traffic lights (T junction) and turn right onto Wavertree Road.
Next lights turn left onto Tunnel Road (Netto and Iceland shops on left). Next lights turn right onto Upper Parliament Street
(sign posted City Centre A562). Follow road through several sets of lights always proceeding forward. Road continues down a
hill and bears right to run parallel to the river. Turn left at lights (Campanile Hotel on left, McDonald’s on right) into Queens
Here you can either take the first exit on the roundabout to ACC Liverpool’s load in marshal area (marked A on the map)
where vehicles requiring access to ACC Liverpool’s loading bays can be held, or you can procedure directly to either Loading
Bay 1 (follow the red line to LB1) or Loading Bay 2 (follow the red line to LB2) where security staff can arrange for access. For
Exclusion and Limitation of Liability
Client of breach of the Agreement by ACCL may be disproportionate to ACCL's Production Charges. Therefore, Client agrees that ACCL’s
entire liability to the Client in respect of this Agreement and any breach or negligent act or omission (including liability for acts or omissions of
Nothing herein shall limit or exclude ACCL or the Client’s liability in respect of death or personal injury.
ACCL shall not be bound by any third party guarantee including that of the Client.
ACCL shall not be liable to the Client by reason of any delay or failure in performing ACCL's obligations due to any cause beyond ACCL’s
installed, may take down all or any of the Equipment), interruption of power supply, war, act of terrorism or civil disturbance, industrial action or
trade dispute or blockade, legal or governmental restriction or embargo (“Force Majeure”). In the event of Force Majeure, if the Equipment has
been installed at the Venue, Client shall be liable to pay the Production Charge in full.
affiliated company of ACCL on its due date for payment; Client commits a breach of any other provision of this or any other agreement with
ACCL or an affiliated company of ACCL and (if a breach capable of being remedied) fails to remedy such breach within 7 days after notice
requiring the same; or performance by ACCL is prevented by Force Majeure; or ACCL or Client is unable to obtain insurance for Equipment and
(if Venue is outside of UK) ACCL's personnel on terms (including insurance premium) to ACCL's satisfaction.
Upon termination, all sums due under this Agreement shall become immediately payable by the Client.
Termination or cancellation shall not affect any provision of these Conditions nor limit any other right or remedy of either party against the other
under the Agreement or these Conditions or at law and all sums then owing to ACCL by Client shall become immediately due and payable.
