What is ANPR ?<br />
Automatic Number Plate Recognition, based on the integration of key<br />
elements, comprising:<br />
• Image Capture i.e. dedicated IR cameras specifically designed with<br />
ANPR in mind<br />
• Image processing, Optical Character Recognition and the embedded<br />
ANPR algorithm<br />
• Storage and transmission of required data to trigger event<br />
• In station comparison against pre-defined database<br />
The technology is commonly used in many EU<br />
courtiers for road monitoring, public and private<br />
security management.
