What is ANPR ?
Automatic Number Plate Recognition, based on the integration of key
elements, comprising:
• Image Capture i.e. dedicated IR cameras specifically designed with
ANPR in mind
• Image processing, Optical Character Recognition and the embedded
ANPR algorithm
• Storage and transmission of required data to trigger event
• In station comparison against pre-defined database
The technology is commonly used in many EU
courtiers for road monitoring, public and private
security management.
