<strong>DGX</strong> <strong>Pharma</strong> <strong>wins</strong> <strong>logistics</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>distribution</strong> <strong>contract</strong><br />
<strong>with</strong> Sankyo <strong>Pharma</strong> France<br />
Stuttgart/Germany, 19 June 2006. <strong>DGX</strong> <strong>Pharma</strong>, an operation of the<br />
<strong>Movianto</strong> Group, Europe's specialist pharmaceutical <strong>and</strong> healthcare<br />
<strong>logistics</strong> provider, has won a new multi-year <strong>contract</strong> <strong>with</strong> the Sankyo<br />
<strong>Pharma</strong> France S.A.S. <strong>DGX</strong> <strong>Pharma</strong> will provide <strong>logistics</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
<strong>distribution</strong> services for the whole French market for Sankyo’s<br />
rheumatology <strong>and</strong> cardiology product range.<br />
Sankyo <strong>Pharma</strong> France S.A.S., the French enterprise of Daiichi Sankyo<br />
Co. Ltd., the second largest pharmaceutical company in Japan has a<br />
long history of strong R&D, including the developing the statin class of<br />
lipid-lowering drugs. Sankyo <strong>Pharma</strong> France was established in 2003 to<br />
market the successful company product range in France.<br />
<strong>DGX</strong> <strong>Pharma</strong> will manage storage, sales order processing <strong>and</strong><br />
<strong>distribution</strong> to wholesalers, hospitals <strong>and</strong> pharmacies for the French<br />
market. Further <strong>DGX</strong> will also export the products according to the<br />
specific requirements of Sankyo. <strong>DGX</strong> <strong>Pharma</strong>’s new state of the art<br />
warehouse is located near Paris <strong>and</strong> offers an ideal position to service<br />
the French pharmaceutical market as well as European markets.<br />
<strong>DGX</strong> <strong>Pharma</strong> Business Development Director Alain Bosson says: “Our<br />
outsourcing services offers Sankyo a real opportunity to optimise their<br />
supply chain whilst focusing upon their key competencies at the same<br />
time."
