Madison Book Group
The Madison Book Group of JASNA-Wisconsin
will be reading the following books in the 2012-
2013 year. All meetings are at 2:00 p.m.
The Madison Book Group of JASNA-Wisconsin
will meet on Sunday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Ann
Gordon-Walker’s house, 1230 University Bay Drive,
Madison, 608-238-2167, gordonwalker@wisc.edu.
We will discuss three recently published
books:
1. The Mysterious Death of Miss
Austen by Lindsay Ashford
The book Sex in Georgian England by A.D.Harvey
was chosen to prepare for the October AGM in
New York City - “Sex, Money and Power in Jane
Austen's Fiction.
It is a bit hard to find- it is on
Amazon and Barnes and Noble and
at university libraries in the area. But
never fear- several members will
have read it and will provide a summary,
so do come.
The group will meet Monday
Sept. 24 at 7 pm in the party room in
Vicky Hinshaw's building- Regency House 929 N.
Astor Street, downtown Milwaukee.

Parking is on the street, usually available in the
triangle in front of the building. The party room is
on the ground floor and the doorperson will give
directions to the location.

discussion. If you would like to
gather background information or
discussion questions on any of the
three books, please let me know.

any contributions are welcome. Hope
