Madison Book Group<br />

The Madison Book Group <strong>of</strong> JASNA-<strong>Wisconsin</strong><br />

will be reading the following books in the 2012-<br />

2013 year. All meetings are at 2:00 p.m.<br />

The Madison Book Group <strong>of</strong> JASNA-<strong>Wisconsin</strong><br />

will meet on Sunday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Ann<br />

Gordon-Walker’s house, 1230 University Bay Drive,<br />

Madison, 608-238-2167, gordonwalker@wisc.edu.<br />

We will discuss three recently published<br />

books:<br />

1. The Mysterious Death <strong>of</strong> Miss<br />

<strong>Austen</strong> by Lindsay Ashford<br />

The book Sex in Georgian England by A.D.Harvey<br />

was chosen to prepare for the October AGM in<br />

New York City - “Sex, Money and Power in <strong>Jane</strong><br />

<strong>Austen</strong>'s Fiction.<br />

It is a bit hard to find- it is on<br />

Amazon and Barnes and Noble and<br />

at university libraries in the area. But<br />

never fear- several members will<br />

have read it and will provide a summary,<br />

so do come.<br />

The group will meet Monday<br />

Sept. 24 at 7 pm in the party room in<br />

Vicky Hinshaw's building- Regency House 929 N.<br />

Astor Street, downtown Milwaukee.<br />

Parking is on the street, usually available in the<br />

triangle in front <strong>of</strong> the building. The party room is<br />

on the ground floor and the doorperson will give<br />

directions to the location.<br />

gather background information or<br />

discussion questions on any <strong>of</strong> the<br />

three books, please let me know.<br />

As usual, we will have a tea so<br />

any contributions are welcome. Hope<br />
