Can You Help Mow the Church Lawn?????<br />

We need volunteers to help mow the grass again this year. <strong>The</strong> sign up is at the<br />

Welcome Center. Any questions, please see Dan Green or one of the Deacons.<br />

Mission Team Meeting After Morning Service<br />

Would the Mission Work Team please meet in the chapel after the morning service today to plan the food<br />

for the supper before the Gospel Concert on Saturday, April 27.<br />

SENIOR HIGH PARENTS: We will be having an informal meeting after the morning service today in the<br />

sanctuary to talk about Youth Group and to brainstorm some things.<br />

Old Fashioned Hymn Sing<br />

You are invited to stay after the service tonight for refreshments in the Fellowship Room,<br />

then join us for the hymn sing. We will be singing many of the old favorite hymns,<br />

accompanied by the Seinens and Art & Alma Bouwkamp on accordion and electric guitar,<br />

plus piano and organ. Special music will provided by the “Singing Dominies” Quartet.<br />

Roger Brandsen will be the song leader. A freewill offering will be taken for the Crossroad<br />

Bible Institute. Everyone is invited to come and Praise the Lord!!<br />

Bible League Luncheon<br />

Please join us for the annual Bible League Luncheon on Thursday, April 25, 12 noon at Harderwyk CRC,<br />

1627 W. Lakewood Blvd. Lunch catered by James St. Inn and is $7.50 per person. Speaker/singer will be<br />

Lois Volkers. Call your key contact person : Arlene Hop (875-8690) or Arla Carroll (875-8457) by<br />

Monday, April 22 for reservations.<br />

Congratulations to Kayla Dykstra and Paul Riemersma who will be married on May 10. <strong>The</strong> Blessing Barrels<br />

are out in the narthex for <strong>South</strong> <strong>Olive</strong> Church family members to fill with useful household items during the<br />

month of April. Let’s help Kayla and Paul fill their cupboards and feel blessed by being part of the family<br />

Host Families STILL Needed: <strong>The</strong> sixth grade class<br />

from Chicago West Side <strong>Christian</strong> School is coming<br />

to <strong>South</strong> <strong>Olive</strong> for their annual Farm Tour May 16-19.<br />

This year’s class is the largest class yet with 19 students<br />

(7 boys and 12 girls) so we will need several<br />

host families. If you are interested in being a host<br />

Cedar Point Trip!<br />

We’re going to Cedar Point<br />

on Tuesday, June 18. Cost<br />

per person is $70 and includes your transportation<br />

and ticket. Space is limited and just $20 will reserve<br />

your seat (checks payable to Randy Rop) with the<br />

remaining amount ($50) due by June 1. All are welcome!<br />

Sixth grade and under requires an adult chaperone.<br />
