We need volunteers to help mow the grass again this year. The sign up is at the

Mission Team Meeting After Morning Service
Would the Mission Work Team please meet in the chapel after the morning service today to plan the food
for the supper before the Gospel Concert on Saturday, April 27.
SENIOR HIGH PARENTS: We will be having an informal meeting after the morning service today in the
sanctuary to talk about Youth Group and to brainstorm some things.
Old Fashioned Hymn Sing
You are invited to stay after the service tonight for refreshments in the Fellowship Room,
then join us for the hymn sing. We will be singing many of the old favorite hymns,
accompanied by the Seinens and Art & Alma Bouwkamp on accordion and electric guitar,
plus piano and organ. Special music will provided by the “Singing Dominies” Quartet.
Roger Brandsen will be the song leader. A freewill offering will be taken for the Crossroad
Bible Institute. Everyone is invited to come and Praise the Lord!!
Bible League Luncheon
Please join us for the annual Bible League Luncheon on Thursday, April 25, 12 noon at Harderwyk CRC,
1627 W. Lakewood Blvd. Lunch catered by James St. Inn and is $7.50 per person. Speaker/singer will be
Lois Volkers. Call your key contact person : Arlene Hop (875-8690) or Arla Carroll (875-8457) by
Monday, April 22 for reservations.
Spring Gospel Concert
Saturday, April 27, 7:00 p.m.
Performances by Soul’d Out Quartet and The Counselors Quartet
Pre-Concert Supper from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
Students are free.
The Blessing Barrel
Congratulations to Kayla Dykstra and Paul Riemersma who will be married on May 10. The Blessing Barrels
are out in the narthex for South Olive Church family members to fill with useful household items during the
month of April. Let’s help Kayla and Paul fill their cupboards and feel blessed by being part of the family
here at South Olive. THANK YOU!

Host Families STILL Needed: The sixth grade class
from Chicago West Side Christian School is coming
to South Olive for their annual Farm Tour May 16-19.
This year’s class is the largest class yet with 19 students
(7 boys and 12 girls) so we will need several
host families. If you are interested in being a host
family, please sign up in the narthex or see Mike
VanderZwaag.
Cedar Point Trip!
We’re going to Cedar Point
on Tuesday, June 18. Cost
per person is $70 and includes your transportation
and ticket. Space is limited and just $20 will reserve
your seat (checks payable to Randy Rop) with the
remaining amount ($50) due by June 1. All are welcome!
Sixth grade and under requires an adult chaperone.
