Longtime Industry Pioneer Passes Away
We are sad to announce that Blackhawk Distribution's long
time employee and our friend and former colleague, Dan
Matheson, passed away June 24th from a heart attack at
home. Dan was Blackhawk's longest serving employee, who
worked many years for Cliff Wilson, before taking on the day
to day operations of Blackhawk after Cliff's untimely passing
in 1997. Dan was adept not only in operating the business,
and conducting sales, but also literally helped build Blackhawk
from the ground up after a fire destroyed the warehouse in
1988. Dan retired from Blackhawk in late 2005, but still
continued to help in many ways after his retirement. We
shall remember him forever, and miss him always.

line against a price adjustment for many

demand on tin production and the
volatile tin market, we have had raise
