• Successfully implemented a Blood Bank Information System module using Visual Basic<br />

and DLLs in C that interacts with a VMS system.<br />

• Developed a Travel agency Information System using ORACLE’s SQL PLUS for<br />

the database and Forms for the interface.


INTEREST<br />

<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Atluri</strong> has teaching experience in C, C++, Java, Assembly, Computer Organization, Personal<br />

Computers, Data Structures and Algorithms, Applied Discrete Structures, Programming<br />

Languages and Database Management. He also has a sound knowledge of Relational Database<br />

concepts, design and implementation. His most significant programming experience is in C,<br />

C++, Java, Visual Basic, and SQL. He has notable expertise in developing ActiveX controls and<br />

DLLs. His background also includes web design and programming using HTML, JavaScript,<br />

CGI, and networking. <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Atluri</strong> has engaged in research in the area of design and<br />

implementation of Artificial Neural Network classifiers for Pattern recognition. His research<br />

interest include expert systems, software engineering, and bioinformatics.<br />

Outside the computer science field, has five years of Teaching in Aquaculture and<br />

Environmental Science and eleven years of labora<strong>to</strong>ry instruction at Master’s level. He<br />

conducted research in Ecophysiology and De<strong>to</strong>xification systems for 11 years, cultivated<br />

capability in the synthesis of food flavors by bio-catalysis, and developed a sound knowledge of<br />

various analytical techniques and equipment.<br />

Notably, <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Atluri</strong> has a sound knowledge of statistics and statistical applications and an<br />

extensive background of analyzing data and writing reports and research papers. His published<br />

papers and presented research results include refereed national and international journals and<br />

significant conferences in the fields of computer science and biology.<br />
