Od i n
The big cheese, the top banana, the boss. He’s not your typical ruler-of-all-eternity kind of guy
though. He’ll sometimes walk among mortals, usually disguised as an old man with a patch over one
eye. Not great, because Odin is an old man with a patch over one eye. Considering he gave up that
eye to Mimir in exchange for wisdom… well, who ever said a god was flawless?
Odin is the god of poetry (uh… bad poetry unfortunately) but he’s also the god of war and death.
Weird combination if you ask me. From his throne Hlidskjialf, tidings from the nine worlds are
brought to him by his two ravens Huginn and Muninn. The latest gossip or the goriest war details
from these birds help Odin decide how to start his day. Usually it begins by stopping his hot-headed
son Thor from pounding someone. He is respected by all the gods for his wisdom except Loki, who
feels that with his powers he deserves the throne.
