During one of our recent Santa Barbara movie nights with our great friends Cami & John Helmuth, the subject
of our wild and crazy vacation newsletters came up. (This will be their second experience with these
missives having already suffered through last year’s MauEmails!) Cami asked how the pictures always come
out so well thinking, of course, of what a grand photographer I am!! I replied reluctantly, knowing that Bob
was listening, that I take many, many more photos than appear in the newsletter hoping that a few will be
good enough to include. In fact, I average about between 50-80 photos per day and usually about four or five
survive the cut. Since we did nada
yesterday, I decided to publish
some of the better pictures from
the first few days that didn’t
make the cut for one reason or
another. The photo in the
masthead, above, was taken during
Bob’s preparations for our first
martinis and snacks night this past
Sunday after returning from
Commercial Mexicana.
