Thanks were given to the SNT for supporting the ‘MUGA’, which is being well<br />

used. However young people now climbing on roof of the building to use as a<br />

grandstand to watch sport in the MUGA.<br />

Steve Tite to liaise with property services colleagues re: use of anti-climb<br />

paint – need to prevent an accident ASAP.<br />

ii) Residents have undertaken litter picks at <strong>Branksome</strong> Rec to help improve the<br />

area – looking much better.<br />

iii) Query re: Bourne Valley Youth club – enquiry directed to the Rossmore SNT<br />

meeting and Thabang Thacker for the activities undertaken there.<br />

iv) Possible problem again with litter and fly tipping at Turners Field and St Johns<br />

church – ECPS to investigate.<br />

v) PCSO has visited St Clements Road found parking problems when church<br />

services happening. Rat running and speeding revolve around the cut<br />

through to the industrial estate (to be actioned as one of the 3 priorities)<br />

vi) Query from a resident re: use of citizen’s arrest. <strong>Police</strong> advise caution, used<br />

as a last resort only, as can be extremely difficult to hold/restrain a<br />

perpetrator before police can attend and deal with the matter.<br />

Date of next meeting: May 26 th 2011 @ 3pm – Please encourage residents<br />

to attend and continue our recent successful attendance for 2011
