Drilling Fluids – Baker Hughes carries out<br />
research and development and works for<br />
all mineral oil and natural gas producing<br />
organizations around the globe.<br />
Over 1,200 employees are based at the<br />
German branch office in Celle. Eighty<br />
percent of those work for the INTEQ division,<br />
where drilling systems are developed<br />
and drilling systems and diamond bits are<br />
produced and marketed internationally.<br />
Our sales region incorporates central<br />
and eastern Europe, Russia and central<br />
Asia. Baker Hughes also offers highly specialized<br />
services for drilling rigs (particularly<br />
for directional drilling). Almost 30<br />
percent of our staff members in Celle are<br />
engineers.
