Available courses range from Access courses for those without GCSEs to advanced and
honours courses allowing qualified professionals to specialise in specific fields of interest.
ABDO College provides courses that lead to the Fellowship Dispensing Diploma, FBDO
qualification, awarded by the Association of British Dispensing Opticians. Many years of
experience combined with a new approach and commitment to quality standards have
helped ABDO College to be quickly recognised as a centre of excellence for optical education.
ABDO College strives to maintain the highest possible standards and to increase the standing
of ophthalmic dispensing in the eyes of the professional, to raise public confidence and increase
