Since the year 2007, ISIM Timişoara has organized the annual international
conference on welding under the topic Innovative technologies for joining
advanced materials, a very important field, involved in all industrial sectors
and where research plays an avant-garde role.
This year 31 papers were enrolled in the programme. Papers with absolute
scientific value will cover following topics:
‣ New joining and microwelding technologies
‣ Modelling and simulation of welding processes
‣ Specific problems in advanced material joining
‣ Quality of welded joints and welded structures
The event will offer the framework for dialogue between participants,
meant to open new directions in scientific research.
One workshop is organized in the eve of the conference opening, free of
charge for all the conference participants:
• Welding quality management
Researchers, academic staff, students interested on the conference topic as
well as specialists from industry are warmly invited to take part in the
event that is an attractive mean for information on the most recent
achievements in the field.
