excursion days
$50-$65 for Excisions this includes days care also. Please
remember you receive CCB on total cost of the day.
Numbers are limited on every day so please book as soon
as you can.
All accounts must be paid for every week.
Casual positions will only be available if the service has
vacancies.

Welcome to
Vacation Care
Program Highlights
Highlights week 1-2. Children will be doing many Christmas activities. We will be
making something to take to our local people in the Beenleigh Nursing Home for Christmas,
they are looking forward to seeing us all. The children will also be able to make many thing to
take home for themselves also during these weeks as well. On the Wednesday of the first
week the children will be visiting Paradise Country and seeing many animals and also enjoy a
nice picnic lunch. We will do some Christmas cooking in preparation for our Christmas Party
on the 20th December. Kathy is bringing along some beautiful tea light holders for the children
to paint and decorate and take home to turn their flicker light on at night. We will also
get outside and get very messy with the water and bubbles, so nice to cool off on hot days,
remember your hats and towels and spare clothes for the day. Keep you eye out on the chalk
board for reminder during this time for what you will need each day.
Highligths Week 3-4
Children will be able to bring along their scooter/bikes for a day of fun in the shelter shed
riding. Please make sure you also bring along your helmet. (NO HELMET NO RIDING)
Sun safety reminders as we will be spending some time at the Beenleigh Pool on the 16th
January 2013 places are limited for this day. We will also have a games day so if you have
a favourite game at home you might like to bring and please make sure Mum/Dad are ok with
this and make sure your name is on it please. Music is something we all love and enjoy at the
service and many of our children have hidden talents that sometimes they like to share with
us. We will have some music and dance time with a few musical games to play also and craft of
your choice on the day. Movies are welcomed for the children to watch as long as it is G/PG
rated and the staff are happy with the selection. Australia Day hmmm sausage sizzle, Aussie
hats, Flags, Kangaroo, Koala’s and much more we will do on this Aussie Day at St Patrick’s. We
will have a water/messy day on the last day of school holidays along with a little party. So
please if you could bring along a plate of something to share with your friends this would be
great. Eg fruit, biscuits, chips, dip etc.
What you need to bring
Your smiles, Hats, sunscreen & joggers (Children must bring closed in shoes everyday)
Lunch & Drinks, parents please make sure your children have enough healthy food in
there lunch boxes. (Morning/afternoon tea is provided)
Please send children with meals that don’t need heating or reheating. All foods
must be in a safe container. No sharp edges when opened.
Please encourage your children not to bring their personal toys as they may be broken
or lost. No responsibility will be taken by the centre or staff for lost or broken goods.
We provide plenty for the children to do.
