(PS) Polystyrene
-4˚C to +80˚C
Duni’s most frequently used plastic.
This clear or coloured stiff plastic has
a flawless finish that makes it the
number one choice for food and drink
presentation.
(EPS) Expandable polystyrene
-4˚C to +80˚C
EPS is essentially air-filled polystyrene
for additional lightness. It’s a soft, white
plastic with insulating properties making
it ideal for more low-price outlets that
serve hot and cold drinks.
(CPLA) Crystallized Polylactid acid
0˚C to +80˚C
CPLA is a bio-polymer made of natural and
renewable resources, such as cornstarch.
Unlike many other biopolymers, CPLA is
heat resistant up to 80 degrees, making it
excellent for hot cup lids and cutlery.
Depending on the thickness of the product,
CPLA products may also be compostable,
for example the hot cup lids.

(PLA) Polylactic acid
0˚C to +40˚C
Duni cold drink cups and lids and some
of our Duni ecoecho range salad bowls,
deli food containers and dressing cups
are manufactured using PLA (polylactide),
a plastic made using 100% renewable
materials, such as cornstarch. PLA is
crystal clear and presents fresh food in
its very best light.
(PC) Polycarbonate
-30˚C to +120˚C
Shatter Proof and dishwashable up to
2500 times, Polycarbonate is Duni’s
hardest plastic. It’s ideal for environments
where broken glass is normally a hazard,
e.g. pool and spa areas, beachfront bars
etc. And it will outlive most glasses
making it economical too.
The fine balance between good
looks and good value for money.
The big winner when it comes
to large events and price is an
important factor.
Product provides excellent
insulation, keeping drinks
hot or cold longer.
Product can be washed
safely in a dishwasher.
(PBS) Polybutylene succinate
0˚C to +90˚C
One of the most advanced biopolymeres.
It has superior barrier and properties like
normal plastics, but it is compostable.
