The School District of Lee County is a diverse community rich<br />
in talent <strong>and</strong> strengths that serve our students well. Our goal is to<br />
help children realize <strong>the</strong>ir potential with <strong>the</strong> help of a support team<br />
that includes District <strong>and</strong> school administrators, teachers, support<br />
personnel, along with parents, guardians, mentors, <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>rs who are<br />
in each child’s sphere of influence.<br />
Lee County Public Schools is <strong>the</strong> ninth-largest district in Florida<br />
<strong>and</strong> America’s 33rd-largest school district, one of <strong>the</strong> largest,<br />
fully-accredited school districts in <strong>the</strong> nation.<br />
We proudly serve approximately 89,000 students in grades K-12,<br />
with thous<strong>and</strong>s more adult learners. We are one of <strong>the</strong> county’s<br />
largest employers, with more than 12,000 full- <strong>and</strong> part-time<br />
employees.<br />
