All children are eager to learn. For parents,
teachers and others who work with children
with autism spectrum disorder the goal is to
unleash their curiosity and set the stage for
learning. Crotched Mountain’s Ready, Set,
Connect! program can help children with
autism engage in learning and acquire skills
needed to succeed in first grade and beyond.
Using established, evidence-based Applied
Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatments in full
and half-day programs, children ages two and
above can gain important skills for life at home
and in the classroom.

Get Ready!
To build social and daily living skills
Studies show that children with autism spectrum
disorder can benefit from intensive, daily Applied
Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatments as early as
two years old. At Ready, Set, Connect!, our Board
Certified Behavior Analysts and therapists use the
highly-regarded Skills curriculum developed
by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders.
It features a set of nearly 4,000 lesson activities to
help children gain and improve a range of interactive,
academic, adaptive, daily living and motor
skills. Our program also builds on the expertise
and comprehensive resources of Crotched Mountain,
a national leader in rehabilitation and special
education for more than 50 years.

For a program that motivates, teaches
and measures progress
A full day at Ready, Set Connect! offers intensive
1:1 ABA treatment and learning opportunities
in a caring, engaging environment designed to
promote learning. Age-appropriate activities help
children apply new skills to everyday settings,
while therapists continually measure and collect
data to document progress. Clinicians, parents,
schools and other providers can analyze the results
and adjust teaching and therapeutic strategies
to enhance learning.

Parents and Clinicians
At Ready, Set, Connect! parents play an integral
role in their child’s success. They can observe
treatment sessions and learn how to practice skills
at home. Monthly child-centered clinic meetings
establish goals, review treatment strategies and
analyze progress. And we offer parents ample
networking opportunities with clinicians and
other parents through meetings, educational
seminars and social events.

We tailor our lesson plans to meet each child’s
IEP goals. And our clinicians work closely with
developmental and clinicians to facilitate
consistency of treatment approaches across all
environments and to ensure smooth transitions to
home, school and community settings.
