Bayer Built Woodworks, Inc. was founded in 1983 by the
Bayer family. By listening and reacting to the needs of our
customers, Bayer Built has successfully grown into one of the
premier 2-step distributors in the markets that we serve.
Our initial offering of interior pre-hung doors and mouldings,
delivered next day, has expanded over the years to include stair
parts, exterior doors, columns, pre-finish and closet storage
systems. Our pre-finish, and specialty capabilities have proven
to be value added services that our customers have eagerly
adopted into their product offerings.
Today our 375,000 square foot facility and dedicated team of
250, support more than 1,000 customers in 8 states in the
upper Midwest. We are proud to provide quality millwork with

guarantee you will be satisfied with the end result. Bayer Built uses only the highest quality stains and finishes
in our staining and painting processes.
Paint capabilities
Products to be painted at Bayer Built are carefully inspected and all surfaces
are prepped to remove any imperfections resulting from the manufacturing
or handling processes.

Stain capabilities
All products stained at Bayer Built are inspected thoroughly and prepped to prepare the
surface to best accept stain and remove oils, scuffs, and any other imperfections resulting
from the handling and manufacturing process. Our attention to detail, careful prep, and top
grade stains and glazes assure you the highest quality finish available.
All painted products first receive a coat
of primer specially formulated for compatibility and adhesion with our paints. We use the
highest quality paints available and offer over 40 pre-mixed colors designed to blend with
and complement stock colors of other building industry products such as siding and windows.
