Raidho Acoustics develops and manufactures
loudspeakers for people with a sense
for aesthetics. Those who think sound should
be fantastic, want their listening experience to
be out of the ordinary and expect good-looking
equipment with an exceptional design and cool
visual expression.
The unique technology of Raidho Acoustics is an
extension of the classic technologies that have
been at the heart of HiFi loudspeakers for years.
But Raidho Acoustics have turned away from
the mainstream development of “synthetic
sound” or simulated HiFi. We operate with the
genuine article. Developments in genuine HiFi
had come to a standstill a few years ago, until
Michael Boerresen came up with some ideas for
lifting HiFi sound to new levels.

test results and awards won in recent years by
Raidho models in series 1, 2 and 3. “Speaker of
the Year”. We are very proud of these awards, but
we are humbled by the accompanying
obligation to do things even better. Raidho is not
for everyone. You need to know what you are
looking for, and then Raidho will deliver

Raidho C1.0 is a small, neatly perfectly proportioned
loudspeaker, so in spite of its limited size, the sound
it produces is surprising at first, but harmonious at
the same time. This model was developed on the basis
of recognised theories of dimension, which we put in
practice to produce a beautiful cabinet, carried out
in every detail, and superbly finished. C1.0 is put
together from hand-made units built from Raidho’s
patented technologies.
The two-piece baffle is made from 20mm aluminium
with each driver assembled directly onto
its rear face.
The C1.0 is a new breed of small loudspeakers that
uncompromisingly let you hear what your system
and the musicians can do. Simply listen to a Raidho
C1.0 for an impressive experience.

At Raidho we say we have a special knack - so we do
not let just anybody assemble a Raidho loudspeaker.
What would be the point of innovative developers
creating outstanding units, and skilled carpenters
building beautiful cabinets in the best materials, if the
elements are not assembled with due respect for the
ultimate product that a Raidho loudspeaker really is?
By checking and checking again we make sure that we
live up to our own ambitious goals for the products
we want to supply to a quality-conscious and
discerning audience.
All the units in a loudspeaker are designed,
manufactured and assembled by Raidho Acoustics
themselves. In the design process we seek to create
something unique, and the reward is a very special
harmony in the interplay between the design of the
cabinet and the design of the sound.

Raidho C2.0 has a seductive expression - for both eye
and ear - so it is hard to resist being bewitched
by the beautifully crafted speaker with such a fine
sound - where everything has been thought of! How
can one describe the outstandingly magnificent sound?
One thing enthusiasts will notice is the impressive
speed at which the units work, with sounds starting
precisely and ending in an absolute absence of sound,
with no sonic echoes or noise.
While the Raidho C2.0 was being developed, attention
was centred on creating a sensitive but dynamic
experience of sound, and the reviewers agree:

Just like the other models, we have made an effort to create just
the right look for a cabinet containing so many units. Raidho
has an unrivalled finish, with a solid feel when you give in to that
irresistible urge to touch the exclusive veneer and millimetrethick
varnish. Technically, we have focused on arranging the units
to give an optimal sound distribution, without strain, while the
expression is clear, harmonious and powerful. Listening to a C3.0
you get the feeling of being at the centre of the musical experience.
C3.0 simply picks up all the real sounds there are in the
medium - loyally and in absolutely perfect balance.
The Raidho C3.0 enjoys great acclaim, with fine test results and
reviews. ”The C3.0 is the impressive centre of Raidho’s C-line.
Its uppermost treble sparkle and bit o’ honey along with keen
soundstaging and bass that’s both deep and athletic make it

The black universe, the emptiness - the utter silence.
That is the platform a sound designer uses as a reference
when striving to create loudspeakers free of sonic
noise. We all know the sensation of absolute silence,
and we also know the feeling when sounds begin to
break into that silence - when the senses are whetted
by the stillness, so they are ready to receive and pick
up even the tiny, insignificant subtleties for the listener
at the centre of the universe.
The contrast between the absolute silence and the
stroke of the violinist’s bow, the voice and breathing
of the singer, and the audience and the surroundings -
that is where you will find Raidho’s vision.

We have ears…..in fact two them. From ancient times
they have been vital for human survival. Just as eyes
have stereo vision, so we can see depth and 3D images,
our two ears have the same stereo 3D capability... We
can hear where sounds originate, and whether they are
distant and powerful or close and subtle…
This is possible because sound is complex and varied.
Sound pressure, dynamic range, phase and frequency
content are the most significant key elements. To
achieve a natural-sounding loudspeaker, these four
elements must be balanced as equally significant.

C 4.0

Raidho C4.0 - the biggest and most uncompromising
model in the C series - simply the most outstanding we
have ever developed. Apart from the fact that the
cabinet stands as tall as the basketball players of the
NBA, elegance and majesty are more appropriate
expressions for the design. The elegant units are taller
than a man and deliver the most harmonious and
ultimative sound experience you can get. Only the real
thing is better than a C4.0. The sound is as good as it
comes, and when you add a solid, but elegantly flexible
overall impression, you appreciate the true nature of
Raidho C4.0 - it is designed to impress
all round.
Whether you place yourself in the ideal position for
listening or not, you will hear how the sound creeps all
round the room without the slightest strain, even at high
listening volumes. With a C4.0 you can listen to your

We make strict demands about how Raidho’s
state-of-the-art technology and patented elements

ourselves. These materials and technical details cannot
be handled by machines and robots.
They need the human touch of craftsmen who enjoy
their work and whose mentality and actions live up to
Raidho’s quality standards.
We call it the personal loudspeaker because that is
what it is. When you order a set of Raidho speakers,
they will be assembled all the way through by a single
person, who will sensitively and accurately fine-tune
the product and check every detail. Choosing this
method of production naturally means that human
errors can occur, but at Raidho we have developed a
series of checks that reduce the risk to an absolute
minimum. You can be sure that your speakers are in
good hands, no matter what stage in the process they
have reached.

C Centric
“If sound could
paint pictures”
Raidho C-Centric was developed as a concept speaker,
and it can be difficult to rank among the other models
in the C series. Centric is simply in a class of its own,
original and - yes, eccentric. The idea originated
from the desire to achieve the ultimate 5.1 sound
experience in connection with TV and home movies.
C-Centric is design to be symmetrical, and this design
makes it possible to turn the speaker 90° for optimal
reproduction of the sound from the fifth channel
- and it works!
Of course, the design and finish are the same high
quality as the other C models, so visually, Centric fully
lives up to the exacting Raidho standards in every way.
Centric comes with a smart, elegant stand that rounds
off and completes the aesthetic entity of the audiovisual
experience.

Raidho keeps all the facets in focus on a complete,
carefully crafted product that can match the best you
can buy - our loudspeakers simply have to be the best
in every way! That is why we have chosen the exclusive
Walnut Burl veneer as the Raidho signature. You will
see Walnut Burl in the world’s finest cars, yachts and
luxury hotels - because Walnut Burl is simply the mark
of uncompromising quality. This very special veneer
comes from trees that are cultivated environmentally
correctly, and in fact they are grown by a kind of industrial
production method and exposed to the elements
that produce the characteristic patterns of veins in the
veneer.
Walnut Burl does not grow naturally in sizes large
enough to cover Raidho’s relatively large cabinets.
To create a harmonious expression in the veneer finish
of the cabinets, they are mirrored so that the cabinets
appear 100 per cent uniform.
Finally, they are given a coat of varnish not less than
1.2 mm thick, so the veneer has an exceptional depth,
and at the same time it is possible to polish the surface
to an impressive sheen with a great feel.

Another concept speaker, the Raidho X-Monitor,
although it is the smallest of the Raidho speakers,
reflects all of the design, construction and performance
philosophy of the entire Raidho line.
Utilizing the same Raidho planar tweeter and the
equally fast Ceramic mid/bass driver found in all the
speakers, the soundstage, definition, dynamics, and
emotion generated by the X-Baby set a new standard
for a compact, stand-mounted monitor.
The crossover, alignment of the drivers and the
polyurethane foam coupling element of the tweeter
combine to yield exceptional phase and time coherence
together with a grandeur of presentation that
belies the compact size of the entry-level Raidho.

Good looks alone are not enough, and we know that at Raidho.
That is why our designs always start right back in the loudspeaker
”machine room” - with units, drivers, tweeters, cross-overs,
magnets and cables - where nothing is left to chance.
Looking at the driver market today one can see that not much
has changed over the last decade. To Raidho there was little doubt
that only the ridged piston cone approach could lead to the best
possible Raidho dynamic Driver.
The Raidho Ribbon tweeter FTT75-30-8 is a unique sealed ribbon
tweeter. It employs an array of neodymium magnets to create
an extremely powerful force field where an ultra thin membrane
is suspended, which weighs less than 0.02 gram. Because of its low
mass the tweeter stores no energy and has no resonances.
The performance is extraordinary and the tweeter leaves
absolutely no fingerprint on the speaker system.

With Raidho Acoustics you are allowed just one
way to individualise, in the colour of the elegant
speakers.
Most models are supplied as standard with the
exclusive Raidho signature Walnut Burl and black,
all polished to a full-gloss finish, and we have chosen
these colours because we think they suit
the speakers best.
However, if the standard colours are not perfect
for the surroundings where they will be placed, we
offer a free choice of colours on the RAL scale.
Talk to the dealer about what you want and
ask for colour samples if you like.
