POTTY IN THE TOP 10 IN KF
After his victory in the Belgian
ASAF Series at the Spring Trophy
last week in Mariembourg in
X30 Senior, Maxime Potty has gone
back to Italy and the wheel of his KF to
participate in the second round of the
WSK Super Master Series at Castelletto.
"It was a good weekend!" Maxime
confided. "I had a little trouble in
qualifying in the dry, but my confidence
quickly returned and I was really on the
ball during the final phases in the rain.
The entry was sharper than at the WSK
Gold Cup at Adria and I also managed to
finish in the top 10. I did not know the 7
Laghi circuit and I'm not really a fan, but
I was able to learn some features that
will help me in two weeks for the X30
Challenge Europa."
Faced with problems with his front
brakes during the last free practice,
Maxime did not address the official
times in the best conditions and ended
up 27th overall. More efficient during the
heats, he was unfortunately hit several
times and regretted the absence of the
2015 spoiler fixings.
Maxime pulled out all the stops in
prefinal B and regained five places with
the second fastest lap on a wet track. He
maintained his effort in the final and this
time gained places with one of the very
fastest times to finish in the top 10.
